The tank-mounted gauges engulfed in chrome, authentic leather fuel tank panel, unique battery box cover, solid stainless steel pullback handlebar, and fuel tank medallion that oozes iconic Harley-Davidson attitude all make this bike one-of-a-kind. Powering this Harley Dyna bike is a black and chrome Twin Cam engine. For a custom look the engine has chrome rocker covers, highlighted fins on the cylinders, and powder coated cylinder heads. The bike build project is a collaboration between the Sturgis Buffalo Chip, Sturgis Brown High School, Black Hills Harley-Davidson, Terry Components, Dakota V-Twin and a large group of industry-leading parts sponsors. The program provides the opportunity for Sturgis Brown High School students to learn from leading motorcycle industry professionals in order to create a one-of-a-kind custom motorcycle from a stock Harley-Davidson.

The B-day celebration will be followed by a V-Twin Cruise-In on July 13 and punctuated by a summer-long exhibit entitled Arlen Ness: Art on Two Wheels. The July 12th birthday party is open to the public and the $95 ticket price puts you in the company of Arlen and other customizing aristocrats and also includes cocktails and dinner.
