2009 Harley-Davidson Dyna Low Rider FXDL, 2009 marked the last year that Harley-Davidson manufactured a Low Rider for the United States market. Low Riders have been around in many guises besides the most current "FXD" frame including one in an "FXR" frame and one in an "FX" frame. I have an FXSB which is a 1985 Low Rider. The "S" stood for Low Rider and the "B" was for "Belt Drive" which was rare back then. This featured FXDL has only 3,329 miles on it and appears virtually new. The only option on this bike that I could find was a fob operated security system. This system shuts off the F.I. and the electrical system when the "fob" is more than about 20 feet from the bike; just a little more security in today's insecure world. Being a Dyna, this Low Rider has external shocks, a rubber mounted motor which is 96 C.I. big, a speedo and tach on the fuel tank and a 6 speed Cruise Drive transmission. These Low Riders make great cruisers, two up if desired, and passable touring bikes with the addition of a windshield and some throw over saddle bags. In summary: low miles, great condition, a last-year model, and a realistic price. California Dealer to Produce Limited Edition Sons of Anarchy Harley-Davidson
Wed, 13 Jun 2012Bartels’ Harley-Davidson, a dealership in Marina Del Rey, Calif., has signed a licensing deal to produce a run of limited edition Harley-Davidson motorcycles inspired by the FX drama “Sons of Anarchy“. According to a report by The Hollywood Reporter, Bartels will produce 100 units, each priced at about $25,000. The Sons of Anarchy Harley-Davidson models will go on sale in August when they are revealed at the Sturgis rally in South Dakota.
Harley-Davidson Reports Q3 2013 Sales Results

The news caps off an important quarter for Harley-Davidson that included the company’s 110th anniversary celebrations and the launch of its 2014 lineup including the new Twin-Cooled engines and Project Rushmore enhancements.

Wed, 14 Jul 2010The former NHL Detroit Red Wing and Chicago Blackhawks tough guy, Bob Probert, passed away on Monday, July 5, 2010 after suffering chest pains while boating with his family. Probert was arguably the all time greatest NHL fighter but also had great skills, leadership qualities and a big heart. He was taken to his final destination on a Harley-Davidson sidecar before about 1,000 mourners. Probert was 45 years old on his passing, he leaves behind his wife Dani, son Jack and two daughters, Brogan and Tierney. A news clip and some Probert highlights after the jump.
