Ask anyone in the know to define a Harley® and you’ll undoubtedly hear the words long and low. The Low Rider® has always pushed that envelope. For 2006 it gets 49mm forks, new stylized low-profile suspension and cast wheels. The low-slung custom seat is less than 26" high, so it’s easy to put boots on pavement. The ride feels good thanks to pullback handlebars, mid-mount controls and highway pegs. Features include handlebar-mounted indicator lights, new tank graphics and tank-mounted speedo/tach. The Low Rider also gets the 6-speed Cruise Drive™ transmission mated to the powerful Twin Cam 88® engine. That’s plenty of go with your long and low.

This one owner 2006 Harley-Davidson Dyna Low Rider was only ridden a low 3064 miles by its previous owner. He sold the bike to us as he just couldn't find time to enjoy riding this bike anymore. Motus Hires Former H-D Test Rider + Video

Bruce Edmiston was a Harley-Davidson test rider for over 20 years. In that time, he estimates he’s racked up well north of 500,000 miles on a wide variety of motorcycles from many different parts of the world. He retired from Harley-Davidson in 2009, but the prospect of helping Motus develop an all-American sport-tourer was just the opportunity he needed to come out of retirement and utilize his test riding expertise.

The U.S. motorcycle industry saw a 4.6% decrease in year-on-year sales over the first six months of 2011, thanks mostly to a 17.3% drop in ATV sales. Motorcycle and scooter sales however saw a 1.7% bump in the first half .
