BEING THAT IT'S A 100TH anniversary EDITION- MAKES IT THAT MUCH MORE SPECIAL WITH ITS “GUN METAL BLUE” PAINT SCHEME (which is rare) AND WITH LOTS OF CHROME. THIS MODEL IS carbureted AND EASY TO WORK ON IF EVER NEEDED. RECENTLY SERVICE AND IS IN EXCELLENT RUNNING CONDITION. NO LEAKS WHATSOEVER. THIS BIKE WILL FLAT GET IT!! metzler 880 TOURING NEW TIRES ARE IN GREAT SHAPE (barely a 1,000 miles on them AND OVERSIZE REAR 140) WITH LOTS OF TREAD LEFT. Donation of Photos and Memorabilia to Harley-Davidson Museum Reveal Glimpse of Early Days at Harley
Thu, 22 Mar 2012Harley-Davidson Museum today posted on its Facebook page a selection of photos it received as part of collection of images andmemorabiliadonated by a former Harley employee. According to the Facebook post former H-D employee Bob Jameson donated “two scrapbooks, numerous photographs, news clippings and other company related materials” for the museum’s collection. Jameson, following in his father’s footsteps, worked for The Motor Company, and in 1960 helped develop a motorcycle suited for use in the Vietnam war.

According to the Milwaukee Business Journal, during the investor call Thursday discussing second-quarter results Harley-Davidson (NYSE: HOG) Senior Vice President and CFO John Olin publicly confirmed thepreviously reported model dump to the Motor Companys Touring lineup.
