THIS 2003 HARLEY-DAVIDSON 100TH anniversary FXD (DYNA) IS A RARE FIND AND ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL BIKES ON THE ROAD TODAY.  NOT MANY IN THIS GOOD OF CONDITION.  ENGINE IS THE TWIN CAM 1450.  BEING THAT IT'S A 100TH anniversary EDITION- MAKES IT THAT MUCH MORE SPECIAL WITH ITS “GUN METAL BLUE” PAINT SCHEME (which is rare) AND WITH LOTS OF CHROME.  THIS MODEL IS carbureted AND EASY TO WORK ON IF EVER NEEDED.  RECENTLY SERVICE AND IS IN EXCELLENT RUNNING CONDITION.  NO LEAKS WHATSOEVER. THIS BIKE WILL FLAT GET IT!!  metzler 880 TOURING NEW TIRES ARE IN GREAT SHAPE (barely a 1,000 miles on them AND OVERSIZE REAR 140) WITH LOTS OF TREAD LEFT.  IT HAS ONLY 24K MILES ON HER AND IS IN MINT, MINT SHAPE.  SOME OF THE EXTRAS INCLUDE blue led lighten set for show, VANCE & HINES LONG SHOTS, CORBIN SEAT ASSEMBLY WITH CORBIN BACK REST, CHROME HIGHWAY PEGS, CHROME ENGINE GUARD, CHROME BATTERY COVER, OEM HD BACKREST ASSEMBLY DETACHABLE, OEM HD genuine LEATHER SADDLEBAGS, OEM HD LOWERING KIT (FRONT AND REAR), OEM HD FORWARD CONTROLS, OEM HD touring WINDSHIELD detachable, OEM HD CUSTOM MIRRORS, LED ACCENT LIGHTING KIT, ETC. Donation of Photos and Memorabilia to Harley-Davidson Museum Reveal Glimpse of Early Days at Harley

Harley-Davidson Museum today posted on its Facebook page a selection of photos it received as part of collection of images andmemorabiliadonated by a former Harley employee. According to the Facebook post former H-D employee Bob Jameson donated “two scrapbooks, numerous photographs, news clippings and other company related materials” for the museum’s collection. Jameson, following in his father’s footsteps, worked for The Motor Company, and in 1960 helped develop a motorcycle suited for use in the Vietnam war.

Sturgis Buffalo Chip Student Build Challenge Will Use 2014 Harley-Davidson Street Glide

Next year’s Sturgis Buffalo Chip will once again feature the Student Build Challenge. The bike build project is a collaboration between the Sturgis Buffalo Chip, Sturgis Brown High School, Black Hills Harley-Davidson, Terry Components, Dakota V-Twin and a large group of industry-leading parts sponsors. The program provides the opportunity for Sturgis Brown High School students to learn from leading motorcycle industry professionals in order to create a one-of-a-kind custom motorcycle from a stock Harley-Davidson.

H-D Confirms Road Glide Dump

In a conference call with investors yesterday, Harley-Davidson Inc. admitted the rumors are true: the Motor Company is dropping the Road Glide. According to the Milwaukee Business Journal, during the investor call Thursday discussing second-quarter results Harley-Davidson (NYSE: HOG) Senior Vice President and CFO John Olin publicly confirmed thepreviously reported model dump to the Motor Companys Touring lineup.
