I have for sale a very nice blue custom Dyna Wide Glide. It has a big bore kit on it done by Walter Bros Harley Davidson of Peoria last year. Motor was completely rebuilt and i have paperwork. TONS of chrome on the bike. Recently painted this deep blue. 80 spoke wire rims. Custom seat. Digital tach from a Street Glide. Runs great, looks good and sounds good. Has blue LEDs controlled by remote. Brand new front tire, back tire is still at around 90%. Bike has been well taken care of and has no leaks.This bike completely stock books for $7,000. This 1 has tons of money put into it. I also have saddle bags and quick detach sissy bar to go with it for the right price. Those accessories alone are over $700. The ONLY reason i am even getting rid of it is because i need a winter vehicle. Harley-Davidson Museum Announces Black Leather Jacket Exhibit
Thu, 09 Feb 2012The Harley-Davidson Museum is opening a new exhibit dedicated to an iconic piece of motorcycle culture: the black leather jacket. The “Worn to be Wild: The Black Leather Jacket“ exhibit will showcase the ubiquitous article from many riders’ wardrobe.The exhibit includes over 100 artifacts including jackets designed by fashion houses such as Jean Paul Gaultier and Gianni Versace, as well as jackets worn by celebrities such as Elvis Presley. “The leather jacket symbolizes different things for each person who wears it, whether they are a motorcyclist, celebrity or a top designer,” says Bill Davidson, vice president of the Harley-Davidson Museum.
Japanese Bike Shop Giving Away Harley-Davidson with Life-Sized Anime Character
Mon, 15 Apr 2013Japanese shop Bike-O is holding a draw with a rather unique grand prize: a used 2008 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide with a life-sized figure of anime character Fujiko Mine from the long-running anime and manga series “Lupin III“. We’re not sure whether the motorcycle or the statue is supposed to be the bigger prize here, to be honest. Obviously, we’d rather have an actual road-worthy Harley-Davidson Electra Glide with a custom “champagne pink” paint job.
Harley-Davidson Suspends All Vehicle Production for Two Weeks
Thu, 19 May 2022Harley-Davidson announced it is pausing assembly and shipments of all motorcycles for a two-week period due to a problem with a component from a third-party supplier. Production halted as of May 18, the day after Harley-Davidson was notified about the problem by the supplier. The official statement was brief, and offered very little in the way of detail.
