Up for auction is a 2003 Harley Davidson Electra Glide that has been converted to a Road King body.  Bike has 18,000 miles on it.  Runs great!  Just finished this custom build & paint is FRESH!  Bike has alot of custom parts.  Camtech 6" Saddlebags & 6" Rear Fender.  Camtech dash & cap.  Camtech license plate frame--black.  Sinister Industries Steel 26" front fender.  Contrast Cut 26" Front wheel from Renegade w/13" rotor.  Paul Yaffe Black Taillights.  Sinister Nacelle with handlebar cover.  Back Yard Baggers Front & Rear "Fast Air" air ride with 5" of travel---yes it is serious!  17" Ape bars, Back Yard Baggers custom exhaust, Custom Seat by High Rollers Seats, PM floorboards, grips, toe/heel peg, brake peg, and rear passenger pegs.  Black forks & fork covers.  Bike was painted black to appeal to the mass.  A head turner!

Zero Motorcycles Named to Made in USA Foundation Hall of Fame

The Made in the USA Foundation has named Zero Motorcycles to its 2012 Hall of Fame class, recognizing the electric motorcycle manufacturer’s commitment to American manufacturing. Zero Motorcycles, founded in 2006 in Santa Cruz, Calif., by former NASA engineer Neal Saiki, becomes the second motorcycle manufacturer named to the Foundation’s Hall of Fame. Harley-Davidson was inducted in 2011.

Here’s a story that might seem humorous at first but turns out to be a testament to a man’s love of motorcycling and the memories of a fallen friend. Ed Spalding of Terrace, British Columbia, Canada, and his close friend Roger Bourgoin bought Harley-Davidson motorcycles in 1991. To celebrate their purchases, the two also bought a pair of gold rings.

Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle/Vance & Hines rider Ed Krawiec is the 2011 NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle world champion. Krawiec clinched the title with a second-round win at the Automobile Club of Southern California NHRA Finals at Auto Club Raceway that eliminated Lucas Oil Buell rider Hector Arana Jr., the only rider in the field with a chance to overtake Krawiec for the championship. Krawiec advanced to the final round and lost to his Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle/Vance & Hines teammate Andrew Hines, who finished the season third in points.
