I ADDED A 2013 18" FRONT WHEEL, TIRE, AND ROTORS. I ADDED THE NEW STYLE CVO BREMBO CALIPERS AND A FAT BAGGERS FLUSH MOUNT AXLE. I ADDED A 2008 STREETGLIDE REAR WHEEL TO MATCH THE FRONT, AND A 2008 STREETGLIDE SEAT ALSO. ALL OF THE FLUIDS ARE AMSOIL 20/50 FULL SYNTHETIC, AND JUST CHANGED. EVERYTHING WORKS AS IT SHOULD, INCLUDING THE FACTORY CRUISE CONTROL, AND SECURITY SYSTEM. THE ONLY MOTOR PERFORMANCE NEEDED WAS THE VANCE AND HINES SLIP ON OVALS TO THE 103 CU IN. MOTOR THAT RUNS STRONG AND SOUNDS GREAT!! THE PAINT IS IN FANTASTIC CONDITION, WITH ONLY A COUPLE OF MINOR SCUFFS THAT WOULD BE EXPECTED ON A 2004 MODEL BIKE. While at the time, most of the attention was on President Barack Obama, motorcycle enthusiasts would have surely noticed the one-of-a-kind 2009 Harley-Davidson Police concept Tri-Glide Ultra Classic which led the inauguration parade to the White House on January 20th. Lieutenant Scott Fear, Commander of the U.S. Park Police Motor Unit, led a dozen side car-equipped Electra Glides in a formation riding the heavily modified Trike, which was sourced by Harley-Davidson of Frederick.

Harley-Davidson and Brando Estate Settle Boot Suit

The estate of Marlon Brando and Harley-Davidson have reached a settlement in a civil suit over the use of the actor’s name. As reported last May, the dispute was over a leather riding boot Harley-Davidson sold as “The Brando”. The suit sought an injunction for Harley-Davidson to stop using the Brando name, and asked for unspecified damages.

Forbes Expects Harley-Davidson to Announce Gains for Q3 2011

In anticipation of Harley-Davidson announcing its third-quarter performance in 2011 Forbes.com expects Harley will reveal its third straight quarter of sales growth. The article says that financial analysts expect “earnings of $0.76 per share, up 47.4% from the same quarter of last year.” Additionally, an 18.8% gain in revenues is expected. Interestingly, the article refers to Harley’s motorcycles as “luxury items,” and as such sees Harley’s increased sales and profit as a possible harbinger of an improving U.S.
