I'm selling my 2000 Harley Davidson Electra Glide that I customized into a Street Glide. It was a salvage that has already been retitled in the state of California. It was completely tore down and rebuilt completely custom from the frame up & runs Excellent!! The frame was powder coated to match the $6,000 Rock N Roll paint (Blue with Flame Skulls). It has a polished built 107 motor with a polished 5-Speed Trans. Some of the accessories are but not limited to 21" - 18" Arlen Ness Wheels, Battistinis Grips, shifters & pegs, PM brakes, Corbin Seat, Chrome Apes, Headwind Headlights, Stage 1 Hi-Flo Kit, Allen Screw set, iPod Connect, Screamin Eagle Gauges, Arlen Ness Mirrors, Thunder Header Exhaust, & Painted Inner Fairing, and many more custom accessories too list. The company mark its 110th anniversary and launch new water-cooled models and small displacement models and capped things off with a net profit of $734.0 million, up from $623.9 million in 2012. “Without question 2013 was an outstanding year for Harley-Davidson.

US Motorcycle Thefts Down 6% in 2011

Americans reported 46,667 motorcycle thefts in 2011, a 6% decrease from 49,791 stolen motorcycles in 2010, reports the National Insurance Crime Bureau. Despite the drop in reported thefts, the non-profit organization representing nearly 1100 property and casualty insurance companies says the theft rate still averages out to one motorcycle stolen every 11 minutes in the U.S. The numbers were published in the NICB’s 2011 ForeCAST Report which examined theft reports as well as recoveries.

Antiques Roadshow Visits Sturgis Motorcycle Museum

While on location in the Black Hills of South Dakota, PBS’s Antiques Roadshow stopped by the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum to film a segment on motorcycle toys. In the segment host Mark L. Walberg talks with vintage toy expert Noel Barrett about various American-made, antique, cast iron motorcycle toys. Barrett shares the history of these early toys, some tips about how one might tell a reproduction from the real thing, and offers his valuation on several highlighted examples. Walberg also takes a ride on a vintage Harley-Davidson Servi-Car.
