WOULD PREFER TRADE FOR A HAMMER H2
I am an adult rider, bought her this 2016 summer and just done a first thousand mile service at HD of Staten Island. She is a practically brand new bike, only better. Put in over $8K worth of upgrades, such as Stage 2 with a fuel pack, air filter and complete set of Rinehart pipes (not slip-ons), Le Pera Maverick - Daddy Long Legs seat with a backrest, new blacked handle bar with handles and mirrors, Klock Werks 8.5 inch shield, passenger backrest with a large trunk, too much to mention -- just see the pictures. The bike comes in a matte black and with a nice reach sound due to Rinehart pipes. All the original parts will be also included. She is getting a bit hard for me to handle, so thinking on switching to more stable vehicle. Have I mentioned? She is always garaged, never ridden in the rain, no accidents, never vent down. 2013 US Motorcycle Sales Data
Tue, 04 Feb 2014The Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC) reported a modest 1.4% growth in U.S. motorcycle and scooter sales in 2013, with consumers purchasing 465,783 vehicles. The sales data represents numbers from the MIC’s member brands which include BMW, Can-Am, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, the Piaggio Group (which includes Aprilia, Moto Guzzi and Vespa), Victory, Suzuki, Triumph and Yamaha.
James Cameron’s New Movie “Avatar” to use “Motorcycle Riding Badass” template?
Thu, 20 Aug 2009James Cameron, the genius behind such movies as Aliens, Terminator 1 and 2, True Lies, and The Abyss, has a new movie coming out this fall. “Avatar”, a sci-fi action movie, stars Sam Worthington, Sigourney Weaver, Giovanni Ribisi, Stephen Lang and Michelle Rodriguez, all of whom can be seen in the new pictures released yesterday by the studio. In one of the images we see Sam Worthington wearing a Harley-Davidson shirt and sitting in a bar. Is this the story of an average tough guy who rides motorcycles and plays pool in bars, turned action hero who saves mankind? Does Sam’s character, “Jake Sully”, ever get on a motorcycle in the movie or just shows his Harley support by wearing the T-shirt?
2012 US Motorcycle Sales Results – Industry Reports 2.6% Increase
Tue, 05 Feb 2013The Motorcycle Industry Council reported a 2.6% increase in motorcycle sales in the U.S. market for 2012. According to the industry group’s figures, American consumers purchased 452,386 motorcycles in 2012 compared to 440,899 motorcycles in 2011.
