This motorcycle was purchased new, and has had 1 owner. It has 6742 miles, and stored indoors when not used. Harley Davidson issued a recall notice in 2015 for faulty clutches, this work was completed that year. The shift linkage for this bike was replaced in spring of 2016, this was warranty work. This motorcyle is in great condition!
The color is Black Denim with a red pinstripe. Updated accessories include taller handlebars (HD), 4-point docking hardware with a luggage rack. Roland Sands Air Cleaner, Magnaflow dual exhaust system. The ECM calibration was completed due to the air cleaner/exhaust combination. The buyer will receive the Screamin Eagle Race Tuner and Street Tuner associated with this bike. This motorcycle is fitted with a factory anti theft system. The buyer will receive 2 key FOBS. Blues Brothers Too Old for Harley-Davidson 110th Anniversary Celebration?
Fri, 10 May 2013Comedian Dan Aykroyd says he offered to bring his Blues Brothers act to Harley-Davidson‘s 110th Anniversary celebrations but was turned down because H-D executives said the act was too old for the company’s target demographics. Aykroyd, playing the role of Elwood J. Blues with the late John Belushi playing “Joliet” Jake Blues, posted a statement on his official Facebook page suggesting Elwood is trading in his Harley-Davidson motorcycle for a Can-Am Spyder.

Several manufacturers blamed poor weather for the poor start this year, and the rebounding sales in the third quarter helped to negate the slow sales from earlier in the year.

Mon, 13 Jan 2014In February, Bohnams auction house in Paris will allow both the Catholic and the Harley faithful to bid on a Harley-Davidson Dyna Super Glide owned by none other than Pope Francis, himself. Given to the Pope last year as part of the Harley-Davidson 110th anniversary celebration, the bike was unlikely to become the Popecycle because of the security required to protect the pontiff. The Pope donated the Dyna to the Roman Catholic charity Caritas Roma but not before signing the tank with “Francesco” at a special ceremony at the Vatican last November.
