This is a Harley Davidson Limited Ultra Classic Low that was just converted to a Roadsmith trike. The bike has only 11700 miles on it, and a new Roadsmith HDT trike conversion.
This beauty was built right at the Roadsmith factory in White Bear Lake Minnesota as a factory display trike. So it has all the bells and whistles already installed. The Roadsmith trike conversion on this trike include the industry leading Independent Rear Suspension and a 10" longer wheelbase to give it the best ride on the market. It also has raked triple trees to make is steer nice and easy. It has a powerful and silent electric reverse system. This unit also has the Accuride system that automatically adjusts the rear air shocks to compensate for the load on the trike, so its always properly adjusted. For added comfort, style and protection this trike has our weight bearing running boards. To give it some extra style it has been equipped with matching rear black and silver rims. Well, you might not have done that, I know I haven't, but one man who did was Steve Hopkins who built this bike using 7 Harley-Davidson engines some which date back over 100 years. To prove it rides, Hopkins and nine passengers hopped on the bike on Saturday to start the 900 mile ride from Wisconsin to Sturgis.

US Motorcycle Thefts Down 6% in 2011
Tue, 09 Oct 2012Americans reported 46,667 motorcycle thefts in 2011, a 6% decrease from 49,791 stolen motorcycles in 2010, reports the National Insurance Crime Bureau. Despite the drop in reported thefts, the non-profit organization representing nearly 1100 property and casualty insurance companies says the theft rate still averages out to one motorcycle stolen every 11 minutes in the U.S. The numbers were published in the NICB’s 2011 ForeCAST Report which examined theft reports as well as recoveries.
