Harley-Davidson Touring description

I purchased this motorcycle when I returned from Afghanistan in 2014, and have been back there multiple times (hence the low mileage). The motorcycle is in excellent (new) condition and has every option possible on this collector's edition CVO Limited Electra Glide.

The system centers on a high-resolution 6.5” color touchscreen that acts as the information and control screen for a variety of functions, including GPS navigation, audio and Bluetooth connectivity. It has 75 watts of peak power feeding four speakers. There’s also the option of connecting a Harley headset into the center console (and one in the rear for the pillion). Hook up the headset, and you’ve got access to voice control, which allows you to command the system via simple voice prompts.

It has been garage kept, and I have not even had to do the first service yet. I purchased the transferable HD extended maintenance plan for $2,529.00, extended warranty, and the HD customer fit cover for this model. I paid $45,980.05 for this bike brand new on May 15, 2014. It is approximately 26 months old and only has 2,372 miles.

Harley-Davidson and an American Hero

Fri, 07 Dec 2012

As motorcyclists, we’re drawn to the freedom two wheels represent; just man, machine and the open road. The feeling rings true today as it did 72 years ago, when Wallace Van Sandt, of Birmingham, Alabama, took delivery of his 1941 Harley-Davidson WLD Special Sport Solo, purchased new in 1940 for $365 (roughly $5800 in today’s money) by his father as a high school graduation gift. The WLD Special Sport Solo was a ringer in its day.

The 2022 Harley-Davidson Icons Model May Be the Low Rider El Diablo

Tue, 22 Feb 2022

The devil is in the details Earlier this year, Harley-Davidson revealed a new Low Rider ST featuring a FXRT-inspired fairing. Initial reaction to the Low Rider ST was very positive, with Jochen Zeitz, Harley-Davidson chief executive officer, claiming in Harley-Davidson’s Q4 earnings call “demand was so high for this bike that we sold out our first consumer allocation in 10 minutes.” While the retro fairing might not appeal to everyone, one other critique about the FXLRST (and a few other bikes in the 2022 lineup) is the rather drab selection of colors: Vivid Black and Gunship Gray. If you’re looking for a more vibrant Low Rider ST, you may want to wait a bit longer, as Harley-Davidson will be introducing a new variant to be called the “Low Rider El Diablo.” The name appears in vehicle emissions certification from the U.S.
