Harley-Davidson Touring tech info
Harley-Davidson Touring description
You are looking at a 2012 H-D FLHP Road King police touring bike. I bought the bike new and has never been in police service. This bike is in as close to perfect condition as you will find. The only mark is a tiny rock nick on the front fender near the marker lamp that has been touched up. It is VERY minor, but I want to disclose up front. 4089 miles at time of listing.
Here is a list of options the bike has, ABS, civilian hand controls and factory cruise control installed, leather wrapped grips, Road King taillights and license plate, H-D chrome front axle covers, new Motorola radio box converted to a small tour pak and mounted on a detachable bracket, H-D premium ride rear suspension, H-D fully adjustable highway pegs, Stage one kit including V&H mufflers, Ness big sucker air cleaner and a Fuel Moto dyno tune (if you are not familiar with Fuel Moto look them up, they are the best!).
This bike looks, rides and runs better than new. You cannot find a better prepared, maintained, condition bike out there. I have been a certified master technician for 40 years and take great pride in my motor vehicles.
I will take a $500.00 deposit on PayPal and the balance by cash, wire transfer, or certified bank check. but the bike will not leave my possession until all funds have cleared, NO EXCEPTIONS!
The buyer must make shipping arrangements if needed, I can coordinate turn over to the shipping company on my end. I have sold a bike and the buyer used motorcycleshippers.com with very good success.

Wed, 14 Jul 2010The former NHL Detroit Red Wing and Chicago Blackhawks tough guy, Bob Probert, passed away on Monday, July 5, 2010 after suffering chest pains while boating with his family. Probert was arguably the all time greatest NHL fighter but also had great skills, leadership qualities and a big heart. He was taken to his final destination on a Harley-Davidson sidecar before about 1,000 mourners. Probert was 45 years old on his passing, he leaves behind his wife Dani, son Jack and two daughters, Brogan and Tierney. A news clip and some Probert highlights after the jump.
2015 Harley-Davidson Freewheeler Revealed
Tue, 26 Aug 2014It’s no surprise, as we’ve already seen the spy photos and California Air Resources Board documents, but Harley-Davidson has officially introduced its new Freewheeler trike, adding a second three-wheeled model to go with the Tri Glide Ultra Classic. Whereas the Tri Glide is designed for touring needs, the Freewheeler is more of a cruiser with 12-inch mini-ape-hanger handlebars and bobtail fenders. Up front is a seven-piece nacelle with a dual halogen lamp mounted tight to the 49mm telescopic fork and frame.
Donation of Photos and Memorabilia to Harley-Davidson Museum Reveal Glimpse of Early Days at Harley
Thu, 22 Mar 2012Harley-Davidson Museum today posted on its Facebook page a selection of photos it received as part of collection of images and memorabilia donated by a former Harley employee. According to the Facebook post former H-D employee Bob Jameson donated “ two scrapbooks, numerous photographs, news clippings and other company related materials” for the museum’s collection. Jameson, following in his father’s footsteps, worked for The Motor Company, and in 1960 helped develop a motorcycle suited for use in the Vietnam war.
