Harley-Davidson Touring description

Hi, I'm selling my 2011 Harley Davidson Street Glide. It is a perfect bike. I have lost my job and it needs to go. It's tough finding a job in my 60's.

The bike is defect free and has never been down. Regular maintenance by my Harley dealer and synthetic oil used. Always garaged and it shows it.

If you are looking for a Harley Touring bike, then you know you want the new frame and geometry that 2011 or newer offers. It rides and handles beautifully. Much nicer than the previous years.

It is currently at my residence in Rockland County, 10956, but I can bring it up to my
Summer home in Lake George, 12845 for delivery if necessary.  Local delivery is a possibility once we discuss it.

It has lots of chrome upgrades. The engine is stock and untouched. I can help with delivery if we talk about it first.

Upgrades include;

Rinehart exhaust

Lots of Harley Chrome - some pictures I still have to post.

Harley Bag extensions with cut outs for exhaust, removable if you wish

upgraded seat with driver removable and adjustable backrest.

also passenger removable backrest.

Call me if you have any questions at 615 nine two four 7160.

Thank you

Kevin

Harley-Davidson Denies Plans for Small-Displacement Model for India

Fri, 18 May 2012

India’s 13-million-unit-per-year motorcycle market is comprised of mostly small-displacement models, so it sounds odd at first when manufacturers such as Harley-Davidson and Triumph enter the market with their larger-displacment models. The question quickly arises as to whether they will stick with their existing big-bore models or introduce an all-new, small-capacity model for the Indian market. Manufacturers like the Big Four from Japan already produce smaller models for other markets so it’s a relatively easy task for them to introduce new models such as Honda‘s recently launched 109cc Dream Yuga.

10-seater Harley. Just what you need.

Tue, 04 Aug 2009

Ever gone to take your Harley for a spin and thought "You know, I wish this thing had a couple more seats, infact no, I wish it had 10". Well, you might not have done that, I know I haven't, but one man who did was Steve Hopkins who built this bike using 7 Harley-Davidson engines some which date back over 100 years. To prove it rides, Hopkins and nine passengers hopped on the bike on Saturday to start the 900 mile ride from Wisconsin to Sturgis.
