I'm buying a new Road Glide so I'm selling my 2011 Ultra Limited. I bought the Bike with 2500 miles on it and have rode to to Sturgis 2 times and bike week in Florida once. since buying I have added, a lowering kit, 255 cam (for more torque) added the Detachable tourpak kit and filler pieces and tail lights like on the street glide, Screaming Eagle air cleaner,a Klock Werks windshield,several new chrome pieces, new tires. The bike currently has 14951 miles, but I ride it so the could go up a little.

In a conference call with investors yesterday, Harley-Davidson Inc. admitted the rumors are true: the Motor Company is dropping the Road Glide. According to the Milwaukee Business Journal, during the investor call Thursday discussing second-quarter results Harley-Davidson (NYSE: HOG) Senior Vice President and CFO John Olin publicly confirmed the previously reported model dump to the Motor Company’s Touring lineup.

Forbes Expects Harley-Davidson to Announce Gains for Q3 2011

In anticipation of Harley-Davidson announcing its third-quarter performance in 2011 Forbes.com expects Harley will reveal its third straight quarter of sales growth. The article says that financial analysts expect “earnings of $0.76 per share, up 47.4% from the same quarter of last year.” Additionally, an 18.8% gain in revenues is expected. Interestingly, the article refers to Harley’s motorcycles as “luxury items,” and as such sees Harley’s increased sales and profit as a possible harbinger of an improving U.S.
