2011 Harley-Davidson FLHXSE2 CVO Street Glide The Harley-Davidson® CVO™ Street Glide® is a limited-production version of the popular Harley-Davidson hot-rod bagger. Powered by the largest-displacement V-Twin engine offered by Harley-Davidson, this potent touring bike is loaded with sparkling chrome, electrifying paint and fresh custom-styling ideas. Production will be limited to approximately 3,700 units assembled at the Harley-Davidson Vehicle Operations facility in York, Pa. The CVO Street Glide is built on the innovative Touring chassis, based on a single-spar, rigid backbone frame and a stout swingarm developed to withstand the demands of long-haul touring riders and today's more-powerful engines. Condition: Used but in pristine condition. No damage and only very minor scratches from bugs and cleaning. Features: NEW An exclusive paint scheme offered in four color options, each complimented by a specific engine color and finish, wheel finish, tank console finish, muffler end-cap style and inner fairing color Vance Hines Hi output exhaust. US Motorcycle Thefts Down 6% in 2011
Tue, 09 Oct 2012Americans reported 46,667 motorcycle thefts in 2011, a 6% decrease from 49,791 stolen motorcycles in 2010, reports the National Insurance Crime Bureau. Despite the drop in reported thefts, the non-profit organization representing nearly 1100 property and casualty insurance companies says the theft rate still averages out to one motorcycle stolen every 11 minutes in the U.S. The numbers were published in the NICB’s 2011 ForeCAST Report which examined theft reports as well as recoveries.
A Seattle Seahawks-Themed Motorcycle. Why? Because Football. And Charity.

In this particular case, it’s a Seattle Seahawks-themed custom based on a 2005 Harley-Davidson Road King, the same year the Hawks made it to the Super Bowl. The man behind the custom, award-winning bike builder and Seattle resident, Keith Wong, was approached by Patrick ‘PT’ Town, the founder and executive director of Union Ride & Charity Rally - a charity event to raise money for several non-profits including Northwest Harvest, A.N.E.W., Helmets to Hardhats and the Awareness, Education and Prevention of Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) in Youth Football.
Backflips on a Harley? [video]
Mon, 07 Dec 2009In late November two motorcycle daredevils from opposite sides of the world were fighting to see who would be the first to backflip a Harley Davidson XR1200 motorcycle. Australia’s Kain Saul reached the Promised Land first when he made a successful jump in Sydney on November 27. Harley-Davidson believes Saul’s jump is the first ever successful backflip for any full size street motorcycle.
