2009 Harley Davidson Street Glide FLHX 1 adult owner since new. Has Stage 1 upgrade with Vance & Hines dual duals. Only 16322 miles. Hard to find color, Pewter Pearl! Looks great in the sun. Only one minor blemish on saddle bag lid that has been touched up. (see pictures) And part of the black coating on the top of the transmission has peeled off. (also pictured) Chrome is excellent, no pitting or rust. Of course all the standard features of a street glide and everything works like it should with proper maintenance performed regularly. Includes clean and clear title and original owners manual. Being sold AS IS, no warranty. Not interested in shipping. Prefer local pickup and it is for sale locally so this listing my be removed anytime. Detroit Police Department Restores 1937 Harley-Davidson Knucklehead
Fri, 13 Dec 2013The Detroit Police Department revealed a restored a 1937 Harley-Davidson Knucklehead police bike that was found during the move to its new headquarters. The 76-year-old police motorcycle was found disassembled at the old headquarters after several decades in storage. According to MLive, the police department attempted to restore the motorcycle in 1974 but never got around to completing it.
2011 Indy Mile Cancelled
Fri, 19 Aug 2011Indy Mile officials have decided to cancel this year’s AMA Flat Track round due to the continuing investigation into the fatal stage rigging accident at the Indiana State Fair. The Aug. 13 tragedy killed five people and injured dozens after winds reaching as high as 70 mph caused the stage to collapse.
Legends Ride Stops Sturgis Traffic

Hundreds of bikes thundered through the Black Hills toward Sturgis on Monday afternoon, creating a cacophony not heard in these parts since, well, last year. The sixth annual Legends Ride draws thousands of riders, spectators and celebrities to the historic city of Deadwood, South Dakota each year on a charitable pilgrimage to the Buffalo Chip Campground, and organizers said Monday’s edition was likely the largest ever.
