Harley-Davidson Touring description

This bike started as a 2009 Road King with 34.680 miles. I decided to build another one of a kind custom show winning bikes as I have done in the past and it had to better than my past  show winning bikes. This bike has a one off 30" tuner mad wheel. A custom  mean street font end and cow bells. A hand made front fairing that I hand crafted. Trick gas tank with hidden gas filler under the console. The rear frame section is a drop seat style. Rear wheel is a chrome smoothie with new tire. Rear fender and bags are hand layed fiberglass done by myself with recessed tail lights and accent lights around the bottom of fender and bags. The neck is a HHI weld on  properly installed and with a 44 degree rake. custom Front chin spoiler is molded to the frame. The bag lids are on electric actuators controlled with push buttons on the handle bars for the up and down. Custom made exhaust pipe. The handle bar controls are Performance  Machine 6 button that do the up and down and turn signals. The Chopp Shop in N.C. did the 4 color paint. The first time out of shop the bike won Best of Show at a Easy Rider show. This bike is not a trailer queen and can be rode to your local bike night or other events. Due to health reasons I am no longer able to ride and must sell this bike. Bike has 6miles of riding time since completion of this build. I am sure I have forgotten many other things on this bike and can answer all question that you may have. feel free to give me a call. 901-3590335. Asking price is $55,000.00 or best offer. I have over 70k invested  not counting my labor. I guess this price is my lost and your gain. a $1,000.00 deposit to my pay pal account or wire transfer is to made within 24 hrs. of purchase. all reasonable offers will be considered. We can arrange final payment  after deposit is made.be sure that this is the bike for you and all sells are final. This bike is a totally one off creation and a future show winner. Harley Art

Mon, 16 Jan 2012

A new display in the Harley-Davidson museum in Milwaukee is set to open at the end of this week exhibiting the artwork of the firm's styling chief Willie G Davidson. As well as being the grandson of the original 'Davidson' and in charge of all Harley's styling, it turns out that Willie G is a dab hand with a paintbrush. According to Harley-Davidson, the display will include “idyllic rural landscapes and still life watercolour paintings with strong luminosity and form that hint at time spent in the countryside during 48 years as the pacesetter in motorcycle design.” The firm's museum has also announced other special exhibits planned for later in the year, including “Journey of the Iron Elite: The Evolution of Motorcycle Culture through the Eyes of African-Americans” and “Born to be Wild: The Black Leather Jacket” - a 4000-square-foot display dedicated purely to black biker jackets...

5 Awesome Motorcycle Gift Ideas for Kids

Fri, 05 Dec 2008

Wow, is it that time already? Time to drink eggnog and be merry until I get my credit card bill and then I’ll be drinking eggnog and trying to forget how broke I am. As we all know the most difficult part of the holiday season is the stress of shopping for gifts.

10-seater Harley. Just what you need.

Tue, 04 Aug 2009

Ever gone to take your Harley for a spin and thought "You know, I wish this thing had a couple more seats, infact no, I wish it had 10". Well, you might not have done that, I know I haven't, but one man who did was Steve Hopkins who built this bike using 7 Harley-Davidson engines some which date back over 100 years. To prove it rides, Hopkins and nine passengers hopped on the bike on Saturday to start the 900 mile ride from Wisconsin to Sturgis.
