2009 super gluide 96 cubic inch 6 speed that runs and shifts great. we are not a motorcycle dealer and have no use for it . we take bikes in often as we are a car dealership. this bike is in good shape other than the rear tire is to the point of replacement .we have not cleaned it so the bugs and road film will go with it. we will be selling at a no reserve price so please look at our feedback and bid with confidence and please respect that it is a no reserve auction and the highest bidder will win. thanks scott

Harley-Davidson Sells Test Track to Chrysler

Harley-Davidson has sold its 531-acre private test track in Florida to the Chrysler Group for $7 million. The property, located off of Interstate 75 in Naples, Fla., includes six miles of track including a 2.1-mile straightaway and several buildings. The track was originally built for Ford, with construction completed in 1992.

In anticipation of Harley-Davidson announcing its third-quarter performance in 2011 Forbes.com expects Harley will reveal its third straight quarter of sales growth. The article says that financial analysts expect “earnings of $0.76 per share, up 47.4% from the same quarter of last year.” Additionally, an 18.8% gain in revenues is expected. Interestingly, the article refers to Harley’s motorcycles as “luxury items,” and as such sees Harley’s increased sales and profit as a possible harbinger of an improving U.S.
