Harley-Davidson Touring description
2009 Road King Custom.
Bike was recently completed. I am the second Owner. Bike currently has 18,301 miles.
Engine was built by DOC's Harley Davidson in St Louis, MO. Engine is a 103 with Harley Pistons, head work, Harley 255 Cams, Manual Compression Releases and Harley Davidson Race Tuner Pro and Vance and Hines Big Radius Exhaust Pipes. This bike runs great and is FAST! I do not have a dyno sheet but estimate this motor to be almost square.
This Road king from the factory came with Cruise, Security and ABS.
I bought this bike in June as a project bike with the intent to tear down and build into the bike you see. I stripped down to the frame and all that remains from the original bike is the rear wheel, engine frame and wiring. Bike was painted a beautiful Custom House of Color Candy Tangerine Paint job done by Wayne Mallot at Joe Machens in Columbia, MO. Upon return from Sturgis, I had bike completely repainted so the new owner will a have fresh flawless paint job.
Bike is completely outfitted with John Shope Dirty Bird Concepts Body parts to include: Cats Ass Saddle Bags Rear Fender (stretched and contoured so you can ride without scraping bags), Contoured Saddle Bag Lids, Extended Side Panels, 12 inch Handle bars, Gas tank kits, and seat. I went with a Paul Yaffe extended nacelle on the front with a Dirty Bird Concepts All in one Turn signal headlight combo. Rear Lighting is via custom dynamic run-turn brake plasma rods (very clean look).
Front end is a complete Arlen Ness Chrome Deep Cut single rotor front end with Pickard USA 23" wobble free Triple Tree Kit to accommodate the HOGPRO 23" Apollo single rotor front wheel. Also, has a Arnott Air ride on the rear with a Pickard 1 inch lowering kit on the front end. Hand Controls are Arlen Ness chrome Rad III with Deep Cut Parts all over.
Bike has a ton of other top quality accessories from Arlen Ness, HD and more. Please message with your questions. This king has a clear title and has never been down!
I rode this bike to Sturgis and it drew crowd everywhere I went.
I am at my bottom dollar on this bike. You cannot build this bike for what I am asking. Dont waste mine and your time with low ball offers. I do not need to sell. If the bike does not sell, I will pull apart and install a 26 inch wheel this winter.
I can be reached at 573-8 eight one- 0 Five 0 six.

Begun in 2008 by the Harley Owners Group as Million Mile Monday and renamed and enlarged in 2012 toHarley-Davidson World Ride, this event simply asks all “friends of Milwaukee” to get on their hogs and ride on June 22–23.

US Motorcycle Thefts Down 6% in 2011
Tue, 09 Oct 2012Americans reported 46,667 motorcycle thefts in 2011, a 6% decrease from 49,791 stolen motorcycles in 2010, reports the National Insurance Crime Bureau. Despite the drop in reported thefts, the non-profit organization representing nearly 1100 property and casualty insurance companies says the theft rate still averages out to one motorcycle stolen every 11 minutes in the U.S. The numbers were published in the NICB’s 2011 ForeCAST Report which examined theft reports as well as recoveries.
