I AM SELLING MY 2008 ROAD KING CLASSIC.  I BOUGHT IT NEW IN 2008 FROM ROCHESTER MN HARLEY DAVIDSON.  IN 2012 I COMPLETED THE CUSTOMIZATION OF THE BIKE AS FOLLOWED.  STREACHED TANK WITH CUSTOM DANNY GRAY SEAT AND DETACHABLE PASSENGER SEAT.  STREACHED BAGS, REAR FENDER WITH INTERGRATED LED LIGHTS AND LICENSE PLATE BY (SINISTER).  21 INCH CUSTOM FRONT WHEEL WITH MATCHING ROTOR AND SINISTER RAP AROUND FRONT FENDER.  FRONT FORKS, ALL FLOOR BOARDS, GRIPS, AND FOOTCONTROLS (ARLIN NESS) DEEP CUT GROVE MATCHING.  16 INCH APES, RESESSED SMALL DIAMETER PASSING LIGHTS.  NEW TIRES, RACE TUNER, HYPERCHARGER.  THE PAINT SCHEME IS JAPENESE TATTOO ART WITH KOI AND DRAGONS.  BASE COAT IS GOLD THEN TANGERENE, CANDY ORANGE WITH BLACK, GOLD AND ORANGE FLAKES. VANCE & HINES FISH TAILS.  YOU WILL NOT FIND ANOTHER BIKE LIKE THIS.  BIKE HAS ALWAYS BEEN STORED IN MY HEATED SHOP.

IN A COUPLE OF THE PHOTOS IT SHOWS A STREET GLIDE SEAT.  THIS WAS A TEMP SEAT WHILE MY CUSTOM SEAT WAS BEING MADE.  STREET GLIDE SEAT NOT INCLUEDED.

Margie Siegal, former columnist for IronWorks Magazine and motorcycle enthusiast has written a book on the history of the world’s most famous motorcycle, Harley-Davidson. Entitled,  Harley-Davidson: A History of the World’s Most Famous Motorcycle, the book ties together the mechanical evolution of the Harley engines, the social history of Harley and the beautiful visuals associated with Harleys in design, advertising, artful photography and collectibles. Harley-Davidson are words that evoke the open American road and the “Made in America” tradition like no others.

Harley-Davidson Denies Plans for Small-Displacement Model for India

India’s 13-million-unit-per-year motorcycle market is comprised of mostly small-displacement models, so it sounds odd at first when manufacturers such as Harley-Davidson and Triumph enter the market with their larger-displacment models. The question quickly arises as to whether they will stick with their existing big-bore models or introduce an all-new, small-capacity model for the Indian market. Manufacturers like the Big Four from Japan already produce smaller models for other markets so it’s a relatively easy task for them to introduce new models such as Honda‘s recently launched 109cc Dream Yuga.
