Harley-Davidson Touring description

This my 2008 Ultra Classic with 53+k miles, it is in great mechanical condition and runs /sounds like every HD riders dreams. Custom Exhaust by X-Treme (note the cuffs match the collar, exhaust tips and grip tips). I replaced the Harmon Kardon with a Kenwood because the Harmon Kardon was failing (Typical with those year Harleys). I always use Shinko tires because I lliked the grip and they are half the price of Dunlop's and they last as long or longer. I never rode this bike like a crotch rocket, its a touring bike if you want to cut thru the curves like your butts on fire get a Ducati or something, this bike is for long comfortable rides with the cruise set and the stereo playing your favorite tunes. I have the fully adjustable back rest with the hidden set tab under the right side heat shields included as well. Check out the pics, this bike has all the custom cover bling, the gauge rings, the quick detachable tour pack setup so you can pop that off and you have the Street Glide look (handles a bit better too). Custom Exhaust, grips, levers and I also have the Harley Davidson saddle bag cases as well. I'm not going to copy and paste the specs, if you're looking at this bike you can do that yourself, it does have the 6 speed transmission so expect to get 225 to 260 miles a tank depending on how you ride. I took it last year from Columbia SC to Sturgis and back, great ride and very comfortable to spend 10 or 12 hours in the seat with. It does have a Screaming Eagle clutck that grabs very quickly and very tight that was put in right before the Sturgis trip. The bike has the auxiliary passenger foot pegs that are 3 position adjustable besides the standard flat foot pads, these allow the passenger to have multiple foot positions while riding long distances. The Street Glide seat pictured when the tour pack was removed has been sold but any Road King/ Street Glide seat from 2000 to 2008 will fit. I also have some extra HD gear for sale as well that can be negotiated at the time of sale.

Every motorcycle tour company promises to take you to beautiful destinations, but how many offer the same promise on custom motorcycles? The Roadery is that company. Having only been in business a few months, The Roadery, based in Los Angeles, is new to the motorcycle touring business, but it offers its customers the chance to explore some of the most scenic locations in the Western United States.

A Seattle Seahawks-Themed Motorcycle. Why? Because Football. And Charity.

Fri, 23 Aug 2013

With the return of football season upon us (that’s American football for our international readers), we thought it best to feature, what else, but a motorcycle. In this particular case, it’s a Seattle Seahawks-themed custom based on a 2005 Harley-Davidson Road King, the same year the Hawks made it to the Super Bowl. The man behind the custom, award-winning bike builder and Seattle resident, Keith Wong, was approached by Patrick ‘PT’ Town, the founder and executive director of Union Ride & Charity Rally - a charity event to raise money for several non-profits including Northwest Harvest, A.N.E.W., Helmets to Hardhats and the Awareness, Education and Prevention of Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) in Youth Football.
