Harley-Davidson Touring description

Selling to pay for a wedding!!  Bike has always been adult owned and driven.  This bike is in great condition!

Be advised about the minor scuffs in the pictures.  The lower fairing has a scuff on one side.  This fairing was purchased from a friend and was like this prior to me installing it on the bike.  There is a 1/2 inch spot on the top side of the right saddlebag you can see in the picture.  There is a scuff on the right side engine guard, low bottom edge, that is hardly noticeable unless you feel for it.  There are scuffs on the bottom edge of each saddlebag which you can see in the pictures.  Theses scuffs on the saddlebags can NOT be seen unless you are down on your knees looking for them.

I bought this bike from a relative after he had it for 4 months.  The bike was just a too much for him to handle.  He laid it over 2 times ( from moving it around in his garage ) while he owned it and that is why the scuffs are on the engine guard and the saddlebags.

Built for urban environments, the Street series machines fall under the Dark Custom design and are intended for young, urban riders. The two motorcycles feature the new liquid-cooled Revolution X engine, a narrow, agile chassis with a low seat height (26.3 inches), new suspension, a wide handlebar and minimalist styling. Not all markets will get both engine sizes, but the U.S.

Harley-Davidson Hiring 400 Temporary Workers

Wed, 13 Nov 2013

Harley-Davidson is looking for 400 casual workers for its factory in York, Pa., to help with a planned seasonal surge in production. The jobs begin in January 2014 and will run through until the end of May. “When we ramp up production to meet customer demands, it allows us the manufacturing flexibility to build the right bike, the right time for the right person,” Harley-Davidson Spokesperson Bernadette Lauer tells the York Daily Record.
