Harley-Davidson Touring description

This is a 2007 Harley Davidson Electra Glide Classic FLHTC.  Life speeds up. Things get crazy. Suddenly, you don't have time. All it takes is a six-speed remedy called the Electra Glide Classic. Powered by a Twin Cam 96ci V-Twin engine. Each cubic inch will get you out there breathing in the great wide open. You ride with a style that transcends time. From the comfort-stitched seat and wraparound backrest to the redesigned and more passenger-friendly Tour-Pak. A rockin' Harman/Kardon Advanced Audio System and countless other luxurious passenger and rider accommodations. In short, it offers everything you need to spend some quality time rumbling past endless mile markers. This Electraglide Classic is in fantastic shape and was well cared for by it's previous owner. It has all of the options that you would expect on a Touring motorcycle, including cruise control, great sounding radio, 6 speed transmission and comfort galore. The body panels look great all around.  The seat is super comfortable, and doesn't have any rips or tears.  With only 23,912 on it,  you know it has plenty of life left!  The tires are in superb shape, with thousands of miles of tread left on them, and the Vance&Hines exhaust sounds fantastic.  They really give this Electra Glide a great sounding roar!  Everything on this bike works like it should.  All it needs is a new owner.  It passed our 34 point checklist with flying colors.  The only real flaw that we noticed was on the right corner of the front fairing.  It has been touched up because of some scratches or scrapes.  They actually did a pretty good job touching it up.  If you look real hard you can see it.  Stop by and check this great bike out in person, or call us at 979-733-8444 for more information.  Just ask for Charlie or Wade. Thanks for looking!

Harley-Davidson Ring Saved from a Filthy Fate

Wed, 07 Sep 2011

Here’s a story that might seem humorous at first but turns out to be a testament to a man’s love of motorcycling and the memories of a fallen friend. Ed Spalding of Terrace, British Columbia, Canada, and his close friend Roger Bourgoin bought Harley-Davidson motorcycles in 1991. To celebrate their purchases, the two also bought a pair of gold rings.

Small-Displacement Class Considered for 2015 AMA Pro Racing Season

Wed, 04 Dec 2013

More and more manufacturers are entering the small-displacement sportbike market and AMA Pro Racing has taken notice, opening the possibility of adding a new racing class representing the growing segment. With plans to consolidate the Daytona Sportbike and Supersport classes and the Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson series signed through 2015, a spot will open up on race weekends for another racing class to support the premier Superbike Championship. The logical choice is to introduce a new small-displacement class.
