Harley-Davidson Touring description

Here's a 1 owner bike.  Never been down or dropped.
It has a Stage 1 from HD and I've added Rinehart True Duals exhaust & a Powercommander.  Other than that, the motor is a 100% stock Twin-Cam 88.
It is black pearl and with the few additions I have added, it is ready for the road.  Some of the adds include....6" smoked windshield, cruise control, auxiliary spotlights, saddlebag guards & bottle holder, Performance Machine grips, highway pegs and a removal passenger back rest. The battery is fairly new, and the tires are at approximately 50%.  The brake pads are in good shape but included is a set (3 pairs) of HD brake pads.
All fluids are synthetic since the HD 1000 mile service.

Harley-Davidson Reveals Project Livewire

Thu, 19 Jun 2014

Yesterday we published a scoop on what we believed to be a production electric motorcycle by, of all companies, Harley-Davidson, dubbed “Livewire.” Today, H-D officially announced Project LiveWire as the company’s first electric motorcycle. However, it appears as though our speculation about LiveWire going into production was a bit off base. Instead, The Motor Company is continuing with its customer-led product development approach and letting riders decide whether or not LiveWire sees the light of day. Starting next week select consumers across the country will be able to ride and provide feedback on the bike, helping to shape the future of Harley-Davidson’s first-ever electric motorcycle. While not for sale, Project LiveWire is specifically designed for the purpose of getting insight into rider expectations of an electric Harley-Davidson motorcycle.

Three-Year-Old Motorcycle Prodigy?

Tue, 18 Aug 2009

Even though Tiger woods started paying golf at age two, this story of a three-year-old boy from New Delhi, India is probably just as impressive, maybe more.  Azeem Khan, photographed on the Royal Enfield Bullet above, has been granted a special license by judges in India allowing him to ride his motorcycle on side roads but is not allowed out on the main roads by himself. Khan’s father had to customize the bike so that the young boy could reach the controls and prove that he could handle the motorcycle on his own. I used to sit him on my bike and he would always grab at the controls.
