Harley-Davidson Touring description

You are bidding on my 2006 Road King. I bought this bike brand-new in February of 2006. This bike has been one of the most reliable Harleys I have owned. Comes with a detachable windshield, both rider and passenger detachable backrests and luggage rack, and plenty of extras. Leather saddlebags. The Black Pearl color looks like a dark charcoal with lots of multi-color metal flake in the paint - looks incredible in the sun. Here is a quick list of upgrades:

This bike looks sharp, handles and rides well, and is great for cruising out in the country, putting around town, commuting, or driving across the country. With the extra thick padded Screamin Eagle seat, it will keep the rider and passenger in comfort and style on long trips. Plenty of room in the saddle bags for the necessities, and a rack if you need to add on luggage. You can switch to long-distance touring model to wind-in-your-face in a couple minutes by easily removing the windshield and backrests. 

This has been a great bike for me and will be for you too. Reliable, comfortable, and versatile. I am only selling so I can buy an Ultra Classic. I reserve the right to end auction early, as I have it listed for sale locally as well. 

Terms: Please communicate!! Once the auction is complete, if you have the winning bid, please keep in mind - a $500 deposit is due via Paypal within 48 hours of auction close. Balance due upon delivery in cash or verifiable certified ck (your bank needs to be open so I can call and verify when you take possession of the bike). Please communicate your plan for delivery and final payment via email at auction close. I have the title in my possession, so all the pieces are in place. I will also provide you with a written bill of sale and odometer statement. Mileage stated on this ad subject to change, as I still ride the bike. 

Local pick up in Minooka, IL. I will happily deliver the bike within a 100 mile radius of Minooka for no extra charge. If you need the bike shipped to you over a greater distance, you will need to make those arrangements. Please ask any questions before bidding.

How many 25-year old motorcycles are still being sold anyway? The Honda XR650L springs to mind, but other than it, it’s too early on Easter Sunday to investigate further. Granted, the Harley-Davidson Heritage Softail Classic has undergone enough changes as to really not be the same machine anymore, yet that indelible American profile, architecture, and riding experience remain the same.

What happens when you take away a smokin’ hot gymnast’s balance beam and replace it with a Harley-Davidson Fat Bob? It’s only 30 seconds but who’s to stop you from playing it over and over again? Now what would be even more amazing is if there was a dude riding that bike on the highway while she did that.  What would be a million times more amazing would be if that dude was me.
