FOR SALE A 2006 HARLEY DAVIDSON ELECTRA GLIDE CLASSIC IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.I BOUGHT THIS M/C FROM A LOCAL OWNER . WHEN I PURCHASE THE M/C IT HAD APPROX 6500 MILES ON IT.IT CURRENTLY HAS 9493 MILES ON IT. IT HAS AN AM/FM RADIO WITH CD PLAYER. GARAGE KEPT, ALSO HAS A NEW BATTERY.. I HAVE OWNED THIS BIKE SINCE 2008. I WAS WORKING FOR FED EX AND TRIPPED OVER A BOX ON THE BACK OF A PENSKE RENTAL TRUCK AND FEL FROM THE BACK OF THE TRUCK ON TO MY RIGHT SHOULDER. AFTER 3 OPERATIONS. Bonhams To Auction Wayne Pierce Family Collection Of Motorcycles Jan. 9, 2014, In Las Vegas
Fri, 04 Oct 2013On January 9, 2014, during the fourth annual Las Vegas Sale of motorcycles at Bally’s Hotel and Casino, Bonhams, the world’s largest auction house for cars, motorcycles and memorabilia, will be auctioning off over 50 motorcycles from the extensive Wayne Pierce family museum collection, all offered at no reserve. Among the machines is a first-year Harley-Davidson Sportster believed to be the 10th XL883 produced in 1957, a 1933 Harley VLE police bike that saw actual duty on the streets of Chicago before being cast in the 1987 Kevin Costner gangster movie, “The Untouchables,” and an authentic and unrestored 1947 Harley Knucklehead wearing period aftermarket accessories. Wayne “Pappy” Pierce started his Harley-Davidson dealership in 1957, run out of a one-room tin shed in DeKalb, Illinois.
Harley-Davidson Breakout Recall Caused by Fuel Tank Angle
Fri, 25 Apr 2014An official recall announcement by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration sheds some light on the cause of a recall campaign on 2013-2014 Harley-Davidson Breakout and CVO Breakout models. We wrote about the recall last week, after campaigns were initiated in Canada and Australia to address a problem with the fuel sensors not properly reading the correct volume of fuel. We now know the problem is caused by the angle of the fuel tank.
A custom Harley-Davidson Street 750
Thu, 29 Jan 2015This amazing motorcycle was built in just four weeks in a workshop located 300 kilometers south of Harley-Davidson's Indian factory. The project came to life thanks to the efforts of Rajputana Customs and H.-D., which provided Street 750 as a donor. The first upgrade to the bike was a Suzuki GSX-R sport fork with stiffer springs and longer travel.
