Tons of Chrome. Bike is ready to ride Im getting married (AGAIN!) and need the funds. Runs, shifts and rides perfectly. Straight fish tails hollow, super loud. See the chrome from standard Harley add on to custom things like the skull and flames linkage. I love this Bike and hate to part with it but I have no choice. Book value stripped down for this bike is $10500, this has 16 inch ape hangers, interior wires and coated braided lines looks sick total head turner. I paid $17900 New put $2500 in pipes and bags before I left the Show room then another $7000 in stage 1 and 2 plus and the chrome upgrades. This is the last year of a carburetor Bike and the Springer Classic so it will be a collector! Very minor cosmetics from age and use. Oh and bonus the oil can was painted factory black and that mostly pealed of to show a chrome tank! Thats a fortune extra right there. This bike is 100% awesome and ready to roll. It was always kept in its own Shed or a Garage depending on where I was at the time. Hate to see it go but Ill be back in a few. Keanu Reeves Starts Arch Motorcycle Company – Production to Begin in 2013
Fri, 05 Oct 2012Actor Keanu Reeves is getting into the motorcycle business, starting up the Arch Motorcycle Company with Gard Hollinger of L.A. County Choprods. The new company will build motorcycles based on the KR GT-1 prototype pictured above, with production set to begin in 2013.
Donation of Photos and Memorabilia to Harley-Davidson Museum Reveal Glimpse of Early Days at Harley
Thu, 22 Mar 2012Harley-Davidson Museum today posted on its Facebook page a selection of photos it received as part of collection of images and memorabilia donated by a former Harley employee. According to the Facebook post former H-D employee Bob Jameson donated “ two scrapbooks, numerous photographs, news clippings and other company related materials” for the museum’s collection. Jameson, following in his father’s footsteps, worked for The Motor Company, and in 1960 helped develop a motorcycle suited for use in the Vietnam war.
A Seattle Seahawks-Themed Motorcycle. Why? Because Football. And Charity.
Fri, 23 Aug 2013With the return of football season upon us (that’s American football for our international readers), we thought it best to feature, what else, but a motorcycle. In this particular case, it’s a Seattle Seahawks-themed custom based on a 2005 Harley-Davidson Road King, the same year the Hawks made it to the Super Bowl. The man behind the custom, award-winning bike builder and Seattle resident, Keith Wong, was approached by Patrick ‘PT’ Town, the founder and executive director of Union Ride & Charity Rally - a charity event to raise money for several non-profits including Northwest Harvest, A.N.E.W., Helmets to Hardhats and the Awareness, Education and Prevention of Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) in Youth Football.
