Up for sale is 2004 Harley Davidson Electra Glide Classic Peace Officer Edition FLHTCI. I am the second owner, the first owner was a retired state trooper, and had all of his repair work and maintenance performed at a local Harley dealer. Since in my care, I have done most of the maintenance myself, aside from a new tire on the rear and rear brake pads. The bike is great shape, with lots of shiny crome, Rhinehart exhaust system sounds great! You won't be disappointed with this bike. I've had the bike since 2010 when I purchased the bike through a local dealer from the the first owner. As far as payment goes, at the close of the auction, within 24 hours $500 will need to be sent to my PayPal account. The rest of money will need to be delivered in person when picking up the bike. I will only acept $500 through paypal, as a sign of good faith that you are in fact going to purchase the bike, I will not accept any more than that through paypal! I will not ship the bike anywhere, I will not accept anything from anyone out of the country! This is a local pick up only!! NO EXCEPTIONS!!! Once the auction is over and the $500 has cleared my account and has been verified, I will provide you with my contact info so that we can set up a time and place to complete the sale. AMA Honors Zero and Scot Harden with Bessie Stringfield Award
Tue, 04 Mar 2014The American Motorcyclist Association has bestowed a special recognition award to Zero Motorcycles and its Vice President of Marketing, Hall-of-Famer Scot Harden, for their work in attracting new riders and the positive impact they’ve delivered to mainstream media. Harden (pictured above from our recent Zero FX dirt riding review) and Zero were awarded the AMA Bessie Stringfield Award which recognizes individuals who have been instrumental in bringing emerging markets to motorcycling. The award is named after 2002 AMA Hall of Fame inductee Bessie Stringfield, the first African-American woman to ride solo across the United States and a civilian motorcycle dispatch rider for the army in World War II.
