Harley-Davidson Touring description
Hi, and thanks for checking out this auction. This is my beautiful 2003, 100th Anniversary Screamin' Eagle Deuce. It is in excellent condition with only 4600 and some change miles. This is one of the most comfortable, and smooth riding bikes I have ever been on! It is showroom stock except for Vance & Hines Staggered Long Shot Pipes, battery maintainer hook-up, and Chrome swing arm inserts. This bike is an absolute pleasure to ride! I only ride this bike on the weekend in clear weather to a bike show or a local gathering. Never been down, dropped, or in the rain! It will come with 2 keys, 2 security fobs, and owners manual. Look at my pictures and you will agree that my bike has been taken care of the way you would take care of this piece of Harley Davidson History. I am selling only because I bought a new Street Glide because I am retiring and I plan to travel. Please ask any questions, I will answer. I am 62 years old and take care of my stuff. No sugar coating here, this bike is TOP SHELF! |

Harley-Davisdon Claims US Market Share Lead for Women, Minorities and Young Adults
Mon, 22 Apr 2013For some time now, Harley-Davidson has been trying to fight the stereotyped image of its customer base as being predominantly older, Caucasian males. Harley-Davidson‘s Stereotypical Harley campaign became a big part of the company’s advertising efforts in 2012, featuring real Harley-Davidson owners and showcasing the large diversity of its riders. Fighting against preconceptions can be difficult but Harley-Davidson has some numbers to prove its motorcycles are popular with other demographics including young adults, women and minorities.
Harley-Davidson and an American Hero
Fri, 07 Dec 2012As motorcyclists, we’re drawn to the freedom two wheels represent; just man, machine and the open road. The feeling rings true today as it did 72 years ago, when Wallace Van Sandt, of Birmingham, Alabama, took delivery of his 1941 Harley-Davidson WLD Special Sport Solo, purchased new in 1940 for $365 (roughly $5800 in today’s money) by his father as a high school graduation gift. The WLD Special Sport Solo was a ringer in its day.
New Indian Commercial Pokes Fun At Harley-Davidson
Thu, 18 Jul 2013The big news in the motorcycle world this year is the return of Indian motorcycles. Earlier this year, parent company Polaris unveiled the all-new Thunderstroke 111 engine as a sneak peak to the 2014 Chief which is set to make its official debut at Sturgis at the beginning of August. To prepare for this momentous occasion, Indian produced this commercial, which takes a nice, healthy jab at the iconic Motor Company.
