Harley-Davidson Touring tech info
Harley-Davidson Touring description
This my 2002 Screamin Eagle Road King. This is the first year for the S/E Road King. The 103" motor was not out in 2002 so this bike has the factory 95" (1550) motor. This is #59 of 404 hand painted from the factory. It has all the standard S/E chrome as well as a lot of add on. It has ThunderMax self tuning, Vance & Hines Pro pipe, updated cam chest with new S/E 251 cams, billet cam plate, hyd. chain tensioners, S/E lifters, S/E high volume oil pump, S/E perfect fit push rods. Runs and sounds great! Paint is excellent for this age. 1 1/4 factory bars, detachable back rest, saddle bag liners, security system, high flow air system, aux. power outlet, detachable windshield, all LED lighting in front, etc. Too much to list all. Tires are 85% rear, 60% front. Only issue I know of is it needs the shifter shaft seal replaced. Nothing major! Selling due to back issues. Can no longer ride 2 wheels. Buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping. I reserve the right to end auction early as it is for sale locally. Feel free to ask questions or for additional pictures.

Harley-Davidson Reveals Project Livewire
Thu, 19 Jun 2014Yesterday we published a scoop on what we believed to be a production electric motorcycle by, of all companies, Harley-Davidson, dubbed “Livewire.” Today, H-D officially announced Project LiveWire as the company’s first electric motorcycle. However, it appears as though our speculation about LiveWire going into production was a bit off base. Instead, The Motor Company is continuing with its customer-led product development approach and letting riders decide whether or not LiveWire sees the light of day. Starting next week select consumers across the country will be able to ride and provide feedback on the bike, helping to shape the future of Harley-Davidson’s first-ever electric motorcycle. While not for sale, Project LiveWire is specifically designed for the purpose of getting insight into rider expectations of an electric Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
