"Buy it Now" before I decide to keep this beauty! 1999 Harley Davidson Road King Classic FLHRCI (1450 cc Twin Cam 88 Engine with EFI) CLEAN AND CLEAR TITLE! Runs and Rides Great! Great Condition! Low Miles! Great Investment! Ready to Ride Now! NADA Book Value: $6,371 - Kelley Blue Book: $7,875 (Assuming Average Miles) - Very Low Miles, Only ~12,800 miles Suggested List Price: $16,985 (Price when unit was brand new) BUY IT NOW: Only $6,750! You won't find a 1999 Harley Davidson Road King Classic anywhere with miles as low as this and in such excellent condition! This bike is in really excellent condition and a great buy and great investment! Starts up instantly and runs great! It has very low miles (approximately 12800 miles) and I have only driven it less than 500 miles since I bought it. I bought it right here on Ebay and I was a very satisfied buyer. It is a beautiful two tone cobalt blue/silver color with shiny chrome that frankly looks brand new in appearance. It is completely stock with spoke wheels, tires are like new and has a full size front wind shield, engine guards (chrome), and saddle bags. All electronics work perfectly. Apparently, there was only one previous owner (original owner from Michigan) who sold it to a bike shop (in Georgia), who in turn sold it to another dealer (in Florida), and then I bought it here on Ebay and had it shipped to me from Florida and then registered it in California. I own it free and clear with title. Ready to ride now? "Bid" on it or "Buy it Now" while it lasts! Excellent condition with minor flaws as follows: 1) Missing Left Reflector on Fork (hardly noticeable unless it's pointed out to you) 2) Very small chip on tank, probably caused by road gravel on highway (size of a ball-point pin). 3) Tear in seam of saddle bag. Has been repaired with a leather patch and looks okay. 4) Starts-up instantly and runs great, but may need a tune-up and/or preventive maintenance service. 5) The fuel gauge seems to be off a little (it shows on low side--so you won't run out of gas) Here is a description of this Harley Davidson as found online. More Miles From Dunlop’s 2nd-Gen American Elite Tires
Thu, 14 Mar 2013Dunlop says its second-generation of American Elite tires provide increased mileage, and come in a variety of new styles. Designed with Dunlop’s MT Multi-Tread technology, with a long-wearing center compound and grippier compounds on each edge, the new American Elite’s should pique the interest of Harley FL owners. The second-gen series of American Elites are also now available with narrow white bar sidewalls and wide white walls along with the original black sidewall, providing FL owners more choices. For riders of Harley-Davidson FL Touring bikes, model year 2009 and later, the new second-generation American Elite tires with Multi-Tread are available in 130/80B17 and 180/65B16 black sidewall, 130/80B17 and 180/65B16 narrow white sidewall, 130/90B16 and 180/65B16 wide white sidewall, with the 130/70B18 front tire available for select CVO bikes. For recent-model Softail owners, including models such as the Fat Boy, the MH90-21, 140/75R17 and 200/50R17 sizes of American Elite are also available.
Harley-Davidson Forty-Eight and Roller Derby? [Video]
Thu, 10 Jun 2010Canadian publication Cycle Canada had some fun on a photoshoot for its review of the Harley-Davidson Forty-Eight for the July issue. As Pete wrote in our own review, the Harley-Davidson Sportster Forty-Eight has a rugged, bobber-inspired look with its chopped fender, chubby front tire and underslung mirrors. For the guys over at Cycle Canada, the Forty-Eight conjured up a rather odd image: roller derby.
Church of MO: 2012 Harley-Davidson Dyna Super Glide Custom Review
Sun, 30 Oct 2022Someone’s not done bitchin’ in the kitchen ’bout Dyna; when H-D dropped the twin-shock classic after 2017, there was more than a little wailing and gnashing of gears. The first Dyna rolled out in 1991 in the form of the FXDB Sturgis, which I think is the one I rode to Sturgis. Ten years ago, Pete and Fonzie rode the FXDC Super Glide.
