Harley-Davidson Touring description

This bike is in awesome shape, runs and rides great. It has 56,138 miles, Tires have very little use, engine was rebuilt at 40,000, I got it in 2007 it had 49,000 on it. Haven't road it much don't have time for it. The engine isn't stock not sure what they put in it but it runs. I checked out the power when I first got it and didn't need to after that, I'm 51 years old don't need to go fast. The paint is in good condition a light scratch on one saddle bag, the tour pack lid is a little darker than the rest of the bike, must have been painted over. I get a lot of compliments on this machine.

Donation of Photos and Memorabilia to Harley-Davidson Museum Reveal Glimpse of Early Days at Harley

Thu, 22 Mar 2012

Harley-Davidson Museum today posted on its Facebook page a selection of photos it received as part of collection of images and memorabilia donated by a former Harley employee. According to the Facebook post former H-D employee Bob Jameson donated “ two scrapbooks, numerous photographs, news clippings and other company related materials” for the museum’s collection. Jameson, following in his father’s footsteps, worked for The Motor Company, and in 1960 helped develop a motorcycle suited for use in the Vietnam war.

Thu, 29 Jan 2015

This amazing motorcycle was built in just four weeks in a workshop located 300 kilometers south of Harley-Davidson's Indian factory. The project came to life thanks to the efforts of Rajputana Customs and H.-D., which provided Street 750 as a donor. The first upgrade to the bike was a Suzuki GSX-R sport fork with stiffer springs and longer travel.
