1986 Harley-Davidson FLTHC Custom. Number 88/650
I am the second owner of this motorcycle that was purchased new in 1986 by Forbes Inc and ridden by Malcolm Forbes. All original purchase paperwork is available and will be included in the final sale. Rebuilt in March 2009 at 51070 miles, this motorcycle has full service records from new. The rebuild included a fully rebuilt engine from the crank up, including Andrews EV27 Cam and Screaming Eagle Heads, and adjustable lifters by a local HD Dealer (this was not a factory rebuild) Other upgrades include a RevTech 6 speed conversion. The bike is currently running the stock carb and air cleaner assembly as it was recently displayed at the Vintage Motorcycle Rally in Anamosa, IA, where it took second place for it's division. The S&S Shorty E carb will be included in the final sale. Current condition would be good to very good. Need to be seen to appreciate the condition. The bike was repainted at the rebuild in the original color scheme, with the swingarm bushings being replaced with synthetic Sta-Bo bushing (this was a frame up restoration). There are many other extras that have been added and it is a strong reliable bike. This is a rare bike with a unique history and I will provide any further information that you require. Best Western Holds Photo Contest for Motorcyclists

The Best Western Ride Rewards Photo Contest is open to motorcycle riders and runs until July 15. To enter, riders must submit photos of their motorcycles in front of a Best Western sign from the chain’s 2,200 North American locations to the Best Western Facebook page.
CARB Reveals 2014 Harley-Davidson Models, Including Some “Cool” Surprises
Fri, 16 Aug 2013The California Air Resource Board has issued executive orders on a number of 2014 Harley-Davidson models, revealing much of the Motor Company’s upcoming product lineup. While most of the models listed are familiar, the documents do reveal some gems including possible signs of the long-rumored new liquid-cooled Harley-Davidson engine. The first and least surprising reveal is the disappearance of the 1584cc Twin Cam 96 engine.
