up for auction is a 1982 Harley Davidson flh. this is the first production run after the harley buy back from amf. this thing is about 90% original with only 27000 miles on it. its got good rubber on the front and back. this thing fires up and runs excellent. the transmission shifts smooth. i wouldnt be afraid to ride this anywhere. the paint is in great shape with only a few chips on the tank and a dinger on the front fender were it hit the oil cooler but not bad at all. the eagle sores alone emblem was stolen off of the front but you can pic them up off ebay from time to time. the brakes are good and it dosnt have any oil leaks. feel free to ask for more pics. a 500 dollar deposit is do within 48 hours after end of auction with remainder do within two weeks. will deliver anywhere within the lower 48 states for 31 cents a mile round trip. thanks for looking.

Harley-Davidson Donated $4.5 Million to Various Causes in 2012
Fri, 15 Feb 2013Harley-Davidson donated more than $4.5 million to support various charitable groups in 2012. The donations, which include both grants and merchandise, went to several organizations, including those around Harley-Davidson‘s bases in Milwaukee, Wis., York, Pa., and Kansas City, Mo., but also to groups across the nation. The Milwaukee chapter of Habitat for Humanity received a $200,000 grant for its Neighborhood Revitalization Initiative, helping fund housing projects in the Washington Park community.
2011 Indy Mile Cancelled
Fri, 19 Aug 2011Indy Mile officials have decided to cancel this year’s AMA Flat Track round due to the continuing investigation into the fatal stage rigging accident at the Indiana State Fair. The Aug. 13 tragedy killed five people and injured dozens after winds reaching as high as 70 mph caused the stage to collapse.
Harley-Davidson Hires ex-GM Engineer Federico
Thu, 08 May 2014Harley-Davidson has hired a former General Motors engineer and executive, most recently recognized for leading the automaker’s internal investigation of its ignition switch fiasco that resulted in a recall of 2.6 million vehicles. Jim Federico retired from GM on May 5 after working in various roles with the company over nearly four decades, most recently as executive director of global vehicle integration. Federico will join Harley-Davidson on June 2 as vice president of engineering.
