This is a nice example of a good condition custom build 1340 shovelhead including the original pre 70's frame w/ pogo style solo seat and custom paint and body work

Original pre 70's frame w/ 1979 80" shovelhead motor. Motor is kick and electric start.

  • Custom 15" ape hanger 1" handlebars
  • Dyna electronic Ignition w/ accel performance coil/ 8.8mm plug wires 
  • Dual exhaust w/ drag pipes

Very nice example of a classic/ custom flh setup. Isn't perfect, but close. does have a couple of paint chips-  on the rear/ front fenders(see pics). engine/ trim detailing has some scratches and chips in finish from age.  

Starter solenoid is weak and recommend replaced(temperamental and works when it wants).I typically kick start it(3-4 kicks)
Brakes are in excellent condition.Tires are in good condition w/ 50% tread left.

Engine doesnt smoke and has good compression w/ no oil blow bye on the rings

Harley-Davidson Confirms Project Livewire Will Appear In Avengers Movie

From the “Unless-You’ve-Been-Living-Under-A-Rock” department comes Harley-Davidson’s announcement today at the San Diego Comic-Con, that H-D’s first electric motorcycle, the Livewire, will indeed be used in Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron movie as the ride of choice for Natasha Romanoff (a.k.a. Black Widow) played by Scarlett Johansson, in an epic scene with Captain America in the film. It’s only been a couple of weeks since Harley-Davidson broke new ground by unveiling new “Twin-Cooled” liquid precision-cooling engine technology its new Project Rushmore suite of customer-driven refinements, but the Motor Company appears to have even more ambitious plans in the works. Speaking at Harley-Davidson’s 110th anniversary celebrations, Chief Operating Officer Matthew Levatich confirmed the company is producing a new 500cc model and opened the possibility of an electric Harley-Davidson somewhere down the line.
