Harley-Davidson Touring description

Really nice 1973 Electra glide shovelhead . Bike has just been completely gone through by a 30 year factory trained certified Harley mechanic who specializes in old Shovelheads and pan heads. This bike has new tires. Brand new complete wireing harness from front to rear . All switches , lights ect. Work as they should . New LaRosa spring alligator print solo seat with matching suction cup pea pad seat . New 2 inch drag pipes with low restriction baffles. Nice 19 inch apes . Original hard saddle bags with new keyed locks and hardeware . This bike is an awesome old school shovelhead and runs great ! There are no issues with this bike and it is a real head turner ! I have taken this bike on  two 150 mile poker runs since it's complete check over and work done and it is a joy to ride !  You will have a hard time finding a better old school Bar Hopper shovelhead . The only thing this bike needs is a set of passenger foot pegs if you want to ride two up . This bike is worth my reserve ! ask questions and I will answer anything you need to know . Good luck and be confident that your bidding on a great bike !

Afghan Heroes tribute Harley MT350

Tue, 29 Nov 2011

The above Harley-Davidson MT350 has been created in honor of the UK soldiers killed over the last ten years in the Afghanistan conflict. This particular MT350 was previously used by British forces in Afghanistan and will now act as a memorial for the charity Afghan Heroes. The tribute was created by Paul Ferguson and Martin Turner, and now features the name of each fallen serviceman or woman, accompanied by their age and the date they were killed in action.

What am I gonna do with a gun rack?

Wed, 27 Jul 2011

Living in Shoreditch I come across a unique variety of motorcycles on the road; from XS650s, to classic Lambrettas and one completely brown jelly-mould CBR600. My favourite of the regular bikes I see is this Harley-Davidson badged Armstrong MT500. In my head I like to think that the owner operates as an urban vigilante, realistically whoever rides this ex-Army bike is probably an artist and instead of a weapon in the gun holder it's probably art equipment.
