1972 Harley FLH - "King of the Highway" Touring Machine - 12,874 Original Miles - All Matching Numbers - Original NOT REBUILT - Great condition, Cracked "Lower Blue Windshield" (upper half of two piece bottom Blue Section) upper half is fine. 1972 . Bike was properly stored Owner passed away his Brother Gary had reputable Shop rebuild Carburetor, Points, Condenser, New Master Cylinder, Brakes, Lines, New Gas Tanks, Tires & Tubes, Chain, Oils Changed and runs nice. Original White Seat (on Piston Spring) with buddy springs, Everything works; Directional's , Flashers, Spots, Hi/Low Beam, Tail/Brake lights. Last Registered 1981 before storage... Road Tested August 2013 - Runs Great! Pick-Up Only with Cleared Payment, Cash or Wire Transfer from recognized bank Bike will not be released until funds are fully cleared. Harley-Davidson Expands H-D1 Bike Builder Tool for All Non-CVO Models
Fri, 08 Jun 2012Harley-Davidson has expanded its online H-D1 Bike Builder customization tool to include more models from its current lineup. The H-D1 Bike Builder allows users to customize motorcycles with parts from Harley-Davidson‘s catalog. The tool was previously only available for Sportster 1200 models but Harley-Davidson has add all of its models except for the high-end Custom Vehicle Operations line.
New 2012 Harley-Davidson Models Named in CARB Documents
Mon, 20 Jun 2011Documents released by the California Air Resources Board reveal two new models from Harley-Davidson’s 2012 lineup: a 10th anniversary edition V-Rod and a new member of the Dyna family. The CARB documents list motorcycles that have received approval for the state of California. The Motor Company has received approval for several 2012 models including the 2012 Harley-Davidson Night Rod Special Anniversary and the 2012 Harley-Davidson Switchback.
2012-2013 Harley-Davidson VRSCDX Night Rod Special Recalled for Loose License Plate Bracket
Thu, 25 Oct 2012Harley-Davidson is issuing a recall on all Night Rod Special models from 2012 and some from 2013 because of a potentially loose license plate bracket. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the mounting screws connecting the VRSDCDX‘s license plate bracket to the tail may loosen, potentially causing the plate to rub against the rear tire. This may cause the plate bracket to rotate as well as damage rear brake lines.
