This Is A Very Nice First Year Of the Shovelhead 1966 That is a nice running mostly original motorcycle. I got this motorcycle from a older gentleman and cleaned out the old gas charged the battery and it fired right up. Have not washed or detailed it so it has some scratches pitted chrome and dirt and dust. Someone added a starter button by the oil tank and coil when original starter button quit working you can see in photos it works and I have not messed with it. The motorcycle rides and stops good. Everything works good there is one spot light not working that I have not messed with also probably the bulb. I have the keys for ignition, frame lock, saddlebags and tour box. Saddlebags and Tour Box need new rubber seals. This motorcycle would make a easy restoration or ride it and enjoy it as it is. The side cover trim in photos are included if you want them they do have some rust.The odometer shows 19036 i am not certain if this is correct. I have a clean clear Florida title in my name. Thu, 06 Feb 2014Bonhams auction house in Paris has announced the unexpected results of the auction held today which included a 2013 Harley-Davidson Dyna Super Glide and a leather jacket owned by none other than the Pope. The results were simply astounding. The Pope’s Harley sold for $328,527 to a private European buyer.
Laconia Harley-Davidson and New Hampshire Motor Speedway to Raise $76K for Boys & Girls Clubs in World Record Attempt
Thu, 23 May 2013Laconia Harley-Davidson and New Hampshire Motor Speedway (NHMS) have teamed up to make the 90th Anniversary of Laconia Motorcycle Week even more historic through an effort to raise over $76,000 for the Boys & Girls Clubs of New Hampshire and set a new Guinness Worlds Record. Laconia Motorcycle Week attendees and New Hampshire residents will play a key role in this endeavor by purchasing tickets for a Community Appreciation Parade at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on the final Saturday of Bike Week, June 15th. Participants will have the unique opportunity to ride around the New Hampshire Motor Speedway track, continue on a police escorted, scenic 32-mile ride around the Lakes Region, set a new Guinness World Record and most importantly, raise significant funds for the Boys & Girls Clubs of New Hampshire.
