In the last 500 miles I put brand new tires on front and rear, Brand New Stainless Supertrapp 2 into 1 Exhaust, Brand new Baker Kicker Gears, Brand new Harley AGM Battery, New Oil and Filter, Transmission oil changed, It has a NOS Harley XLCR Cafe Racer front fender. I still have the original box somewhere, Franks 2" Over Tubes, New DID X-Ring Rear Chain and PBI Aluminum Rear Sprocket. New Heavy Duty Screamin' Eagle fork oil and James Gaskets fork seals, New wheel bearings and seals, Brand New Le Pera Seat and pillion Pad, Original NOS 1970's Sifton .440" Cam, If you don't like a noisy solid lifter cam, then its not for you!! Not a junk V-Twin Cam, Original 1970's cam! New Lifters, New Pushrods, Torrington B-138 Bearing, Original Centerline Riveted Solid Rear Wheel, New Sportster Iron Handlebars. I just removed the tach, but I still have it. Tons of cool period accessories and parts. This was in a gentlemans living room since 1995, i'm told between 1981-1995 it was only driven to the dealer and back for inspections and oil changes! Very cool clean Shovelhead. No horrible leaks like most shovels. It still has the original clutch! I havent done much to this bike besides the service and cam work listed. It does have normal scratches and dents that should be expected with its age. I'm sure i'm forgetting some stuff, so please ask. Its an old Shovel, so you should be up for some additional maintenance here and there. These old bikes are temperamental at times. I will ship or arrange shipping to the lower 48 at the expense of the buyer. Please look at all items very carefully and request additional photos if you are unsure of something. Please ask any questions prior to purchase or bidding. I am not an expert, everyone else is. I highly recommend having a parts expert or an authorized Harley Dealer check all items before you purchase them to ensure that particular part is what you need and/or what you want. All sales are final. All items are sold AS-IS with No Warranty expressed or implied. No Returns or Refunds unless specified All items are considered used unless noted and with most used Harley or Motorcycle Parts you should expect a certain degree of wear and character that comes with normal, everyday use. 2025 Harley-Davidson Heritage Classic Review – First Ride
Thu, 13 Mar 2025Classic cruising Photos by Bryan J Nelson and Kevin Wing. If I’m cruisin’ there’s no better place to be than on the Heritage Classic. Low and slow is the name of the game here, well, not too slow because while in Sport mode, using the dedicated traction control button on the right switchgear to disable TC resulted in effortless rolling burnouts from the Heritage – again, 120 lb-ft or torque gets the job done.

Motorcycles at the 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show
Mon, 28 Sep 2009Two weeks ago, I took a break from my regular duties gathering news for Motorcycle.com to fly to Germany to cover the 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show for our sister site AutoGuide.com. For two hectic days, AutoGuide editor Colum Wood and I scrambled across the massive 6.2 million square foot Messe Frankfurt trade fair compound, running from press conference to press conference to get the latest on exotic sport cars, futuristic concept models and international unveilings from the automotive world. It was heaven for car lovers, but for me, it meant fighting my way through hordes of photogs, auto-journalists and car show models to get the first photos of four-wheeled goodies from MINI, Ferrari and Lotus.
