Harley-Davidson Sportster description

Harley-Davidson Sportster originally built by/ for Nick Nolte. Nick had this bike built for himself 25 years ago. No way to know mileage, but as far as I've been able to find out, it has been ridden very little over the years. He chose a reliable evolution 883 Sportster converted to 1200 cc. The engine was installed into a custom chassis with a rigid frame with just enough rake for the springer fork to have optimum geometry. Buckhorn handlebars, a sprung leather solo saddle and 21 inch Akront aluminum front wheel. The bike was stored indoors at Nick's house (see picture) until he sold the bike to Vladimir Kulich (13th Warrior) last year, (see picture). A few months ago, some idiot knocked Vladimir off the bike and bent the handlebars, scraped the tank and pipes (NO FRAME OR ENGINE DAMAGE, ONLY COSMETIC). The insurance company salvaged it even though it only had minor cosmetic damage. I chased the bike down on the insurance auction site, bought it, got it back into good running condition, and got it registered. I still have the original front wheel, dual piston PM brake caliper and master cylinder but decided to go old school with new front wheel and no front brake. Some new handlebars and a new set of drag pipes was all it really needed. It is straight as an arrow and extremely powerful. It's all original parts of Nick Nolte's choice and every bit a real good old fashioned Harley chopper. The motor is tight and strong (really strong), lots of compression. The clutch and transmission work great. The bike is ready to ride, and will be sold newly serviced: New points, Battery, Seals, Pipes and clean carb. It is extremely fun to drive. Honestly it is an adventure could not stop smiling. It really is something else. Real old school all the way. $5499 obo. New tags and registration.
