This is a late 1984 XLX,

This bike can either be
outfitted with a replacement transmission, still many available or it can be
used to take apart and personalize your own Sportster. The motor runs strong,
always starts. Second gear cracked and jammed into the gear box and cracked the
housing.
I have all of the parts. I
have removed the Chrome primary cover, primary chain, and clutch and gear box
which will all be shipped with the bike. The crack can be seen in several of
the pictures.
I have had the bike for over
20 years and it has never let me down, that is till one of the gears let go. I
have found replacement gear boxes and replacement motors on EBay as well as
just plugging in what you are looking for in a Search Engine. Currently all oil (Crankcase and
transmission) has been drained and
battery disconnected.

2014 Harley-Davidson Touring Models Recalled for Pinched Brake Lines
Wed, 09 Jul 2014Harley-Davidson is recalling 66,421 motorcycles because of a problem with the front brake lines getting pinched. The recall affects all ABS-equipped 2014 touring and CVO touring models including the Electra Glide Ultra Limited, Electra Glide Ultra Classic, Street Glide, Road King, CVO Limited and CVO Road King. Police and Shrine edition models are also affected, as are the Twin-Cooled version of the Electra Glide Ultra Classic and the Road King Classic which are produced for other markets.
Hero Motocorp Teases Harley-Davidson-branded Model for India

We havent heard much from that arrangement until now, when a selection of spy photos of a Harley-Davidson-branded motorcycle with a 400-ish cc Single landed in the hands of the Indian press.
The 2022 Harley-Davidson Icons Model May Be the Low Rider El Diablo

Initial reaction to the Low Rider ST was very positive, with Jochen Zeitz, Harley-Davidson chief executive officer, claiming in Harley-Davidsons Q4 earnings call demand was so high for this bike that we sold out our first consumer allocation in 10 minutes. While the retro fairing might not appeal to everyone, one other critique about the FXLRST (and a few other bikes in the 2022 lineup) is the rather drab selection of colors: Vivid Black and Gunship Gray. If youre looking for a more vibrant Low Rider ST, you may want to wait a bit longer, as Harley-Davidson will be introducing a new variant to be called the Low Rider El Diablo. The name appears in vehicle emissions certification from the U.S.
