Harley-Davidson Sportster description

2006 Sportster. Low miles,3500. 883 custom converted to 1200. Replaced stock tank with 3.3 king.  Custom one off paint. Paughco springer and progressive 10.5 rear shocks. Throw back exhausts. Dakota speedo mounted on side of frame. HD spring saddle. LEDs different colors and patterns. Less than 300 miles since conversion. Recently tuned and new battery. Bike looks and runs great. Sold as is no warranty. I am on the fence about selling it. Dropped a lot of coin on conversion.  Great bar hopper. Always garaged kept.  Local pick up or buyer will have to arrange shipping. I am second owner. Work done by custom performance, west berlin, NJ.

 

A $250 deposit is due within 24 hours of the end of the auction and the balance is due within 7 days. Unless otherwise agreed upon, the bike must be shipped or picked up within 10 days of the auction's end. It’s only been a couple of weeks since Harley-Davidson broke new ground by unveiling new “Twin-Cooled” liquid precision-cooling engine technology its new Project Rushmore suite of customer-driven refinements, but the Motor Company appears to have even more ambitious plans in the works. Speaking at Harley-Davidson’s 110th anniversary celebrations, Chief Operating Officer Matthew Levatich confirmed the company is producing a new 500cc model and opened the possibility of an electric Harley-Davidson somewhere down the line. Zero Motorcycles has promoted Abe Askenazi to the position of chief technology officer. A former Buell engineer, Askenazi joined Zero Motorcycles in 2010 as vice president of engineering where he played a vital role in developing the company’s 2011 line-up, overhauling over 80% of Zero’s existing electric motorcycle line-up while adding the Zero XU and street legal versions of the Zero X and Zero MX in just 10 months on the job. “Abe’s ability to effectively execute on an aggressive product development plan, select the best new technologies and rally his team is remarkable.
