Selling my beautiful candy-apple red 2012 XL883L with only around 2640
miles on her. Barely been ridden, like new. Also have added an
additional sport seat (shown in the pictures here), the original comfort
seat is included in the sale, quick detach sissy bar (not shown), quick
detach windshield, low rise mirrors, and a pair of leather hard bags. Almost 2k in
extras! Runs very strong for a 883 due to the bike being fuel injected. Love the radial tires.
The mileage will go up a little, I ride her once a week to keep things
fresh. Also included is the HD Extended Unlimited Miles Warranty, good to January 11 2017. The transfer fee is $25 if you want it. Bought the bike for a shorter girlfriend. She is gone, now the Harley needs to go. Not recommended for folks over 6' tall. I ride beemers, if you have one to trade we should talk? My loss, your win! Clean title in hand. Dave Grohl Drums to the Sound of a Harley-Davidson Motorcycle
Fri, 31 Jul 2009I’ve got a lot of respect for Dave Grohl. He’s amazingly talented and very driven. Even after Nirvana, the guy is still kicking and in the spotlight with the Foo Fighters and the millions of other side projects he’s done (ie: Queens of the Stone Age). Apparently he’s also a big motorcycle guy. Harley-Davidson did a little video on Dave, featuring him drumming on a snare drum to the exhaust pipes of a Harley-Davidson. The seven minute video goes on about how Mr Grohl bought his first motorcycle when the Nirvana album “Nevermind” started to become big.

Harley-Davidson‘s Stereotypical Harley campaign became a big part of the company’s advertising efforts in 2012, featuring real Harley-Davidson owners and showcasing the large diversity of its riders. Fighting against preconceptions can be difficult but Harley-Davidson has some numbers to prove its motorcycles are popular with other demographics including young adults, women and minorities.
AMA Honors Zero and Scot Harden with Bessie Stringfield Award
Tue, 04 Mar 2014The American Motorcyclist Association has bestowed a special recognition award to Zero Motorcycles and its Vice President of Marketing, Hall-of-Famer Scot Harden, for their work in attracting new riders and the positive impact they’ve delivered to mainstream media. Harden (pictured above from our recent Zero FX dirt riding review) and Zero were awarded the AMA Bessie Stringfield Award which recognizes individuals who have been instrumental in bringing emerging markets to motorcycling. The award is named after 2002 AMA Hall of Fame inductee Bessie Stringfield, the first African-American woman to ride solo across the United States and a civilian motorcycle dispatch rider for the army in World War II.
