I am selling my 2009 Nightster. The bike is in great shape.
- The bike has forward controls.
- I have relocated the speedometer with a custom made speedometer bracket that attaches to the bikes frame.
- The ignition has been moved and relocated using a Harley Davidson horn bracket.
- The front blinkers have been moved off of the internally wired handlebars.
- I removed the paint off of the transmission cover and the cam cover and polished the aluminum to a shine.
- Many parts on this bike have been powder coated flat black professionally by BBD coaters in Syracuse NY. All Flat Black Seen On This Bike.
- It has Screamin Eagle II pipes on it, and Screamin Eagle air cleaner set up accompanied by a computer programmable performance tuner.
- It has the passenger pegs and seat if you want to ride two-up.
Other modifications have been done as well. I am the original owner and I have babied this bike since day one. It has always been in a garage and maintained carefully.
To go with the sale I have a 21' front spoke rim that matches the original rims (black hub, black rim, chrome spokes, Dunlop Harley Davidson branded tire). A custom chrome 2.5 inch air cleaner set up. Chrome Harley Davidson mini ape hangers with the clutch, throttle, and extended brake lines. Two sets of tank badges. A brand new 18' front tire. The original Nightster "bullet hole" belt guard. The original blinkers. Also have the plastic wiring harness holder that hangs under the tank on all newer sportster models.

Dave Grohl Drums to the Sound of a Harley-Davidson Motorcycle
Fri, 31 Jul 2009I’ve got a lot of respect for Dave Grohl. He’s amazingly talented and very driven. Even after Nirvana, the guy is still kicking and in the spotlight with the Foo Fighters and the millions of other side projects he’s done (ie: Queens of the Stone Age). Apparently he’s also a big motorcycle guy. Harley-Davidson did a little video on Dave, featuring him drumming on a snare drum to the exhaust pipes of a Harley-Davidson. The seven minute video goes on about how Mr Grohl bought his first motorcycle when the Nirvana album “Nevermind” started to become big.
Owner of Tsunami-Tossed Harley-Davidson Found in Japan
Wed, 02 May 2012Harley-Davidson representatives in Japan have identified the owner of the motorcycle lost in last year’s tsunami but later found on a remote beach in Canada. The 29-year-old owner, Ikuo Yokoyama, lives in Yamamoto, Japan, in Miyagi Prefecture, the region hardest hit by the 2011 Japanese earthquake and tsunami. Yokoyama survived the disaster but lost three family members and is still living in temporary accommodations.
