 2007 Sportster 1200 Custom, Bike in great condition.  Recently serviced in Del Rio Tx by cycle shop.  Bike has a quick connect/disconnect windshield, dual seat with sissy bar.  Forward controls. Leather Saddle bags with mounting hardware bike cover and extra key included. Extra saddle seat and passenger seat included that has never been installed. Tires at 50% tread. Longest ride 450 miles Del Rio to Dallas.  Bike was flawless at 48 mpg. Payment arrangements will be made through credit union upon sale.  Shipping is negotiable depending on area of delivery.  Bike is currently in Dallas area.

Arlen Ness B-Day Bash At Petersen Museum

On July 12 the Petersen Automotive Museum is throwing a birthday party for one of motorcycling’s customizing icons, Arlen Ness. The B-day celebration will be followed by a V-Twin Cruise-In on July 13 and punctuated by a summer-long exhibit entitled Arlen Ness: Art on Two Wheels. The July 12th birthday party is open to the public and the $95 ticket price puts you in the company of Arlen and other customizing aristocrats and also includes cocktails and dinner.

India’s 13-million-unit-per-year motorcycle market is comprised of mostly small-displacement models, so it sounds odd at first when manufacturers such as Harley-Davidson and Triumph enter the market with their larger-displacment models. The question quickly arises as to whether they will stick with their existing big-bore models or introduce an all-new, small-capacity model for the Indian market. Manufacturers like the Big Four from Japan already produce smaller models for other markets so it’s a relatively easy task for them to introduce new models such as Honda‘s recently launched 109cc Dream Yuga.
