Harley-Davidson Sportster description

You are bidding on a 2007 harley davidson sportster 1200 low in awesome condition. Pretty much like going back to 2007. Yes it has only 800 miles on it due to not using it which is the only reason for selling. The bike has a few factory installed extras which include spoked wheels, factory HD alarm system, and detachable back rest. As you can see from pictures it's just the way it came off the show room floor. The only flaws in the entire bike is the speedo has a very light scuff, the right mirror also has barely noticeable marks on it along with the lower side of the mufflers that u have to bend down to even see. All flaws are pictured as best I could but again all hardly noticeable. These marks were caused due to falling over in the garage. As you can tell by mileage it has barely been broke in yet and has always been stored in heated garage. Also due to the fact it was hardly used it will need a state inspection but other that that it's ready to ride, just installed brand new battery. I tried to describe every detail as best I could but bottom line is other than the 3 little marks on it you are getting a brand new bike. No reserve auction do bid to own. Any questions please feel free to ask and thanks for looking.  See bike running here http://youtu.be/vmpCfFzH_DQ

Dave Grohl Drums to the Sound of a Harley-Davidson Motorcycle

Fri, 31 Jul 2009

I’ve got a lot of respect for Dave Grohl.  He’s amazingly talented and very driven.  Even after Nirvana, the guy is still kicking and in the spotlight with the Foo Fighters and the millions of other side projects he’s done (ie: Queens of the Stone Age). Apparently he’s also a big motorcycle guy. Harley-Davidson did a little video on Dave, featuring him drumming on a snare drum to the exhaust pipes of a Harley-Davidson.  The seven minute video goes on about how Mr Grohl bought his first motorcycle when the Nirvana album “Nevermind” started to become big.

Harley Declares Women Riders Month

Tue, 10 Feb 2009

Back in July of ’08 Motorcycle.com announced that The Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum and Nationwide Insurance were working together to mark July as Women’s Motorcycle Month in order to honor the contribution made to history by female riders. This May, Harley-Davidson is staging a series of events in order to celebrate women on two wheels by declaring May, “Women Riders Month.” Some of the Harley-Davidson Women Riders Month initiatives will include special rides in New York City and Milwaukee as well as an attempt to grace the pages of the Guinness Book of World Records for the largest number of women motorcycle riders trained in one weekend. Harley-Davidson dealerships will also be hosting women-only Garage Parties, which consist of informal meetings in an unintimidating environment where women can learn about motorcycling.

Harley-Davidson’s 110th Anniversary Party Is Just A Week Away

Fri, 23 Aug 2013

Harley-Davidson has been preparing for its 110th anniversary party for the past year, celebrating in 11 countries on six different continents. In the past year, Harley-Davidson employees, dealers and riders have shared thousands of amazing experiences, including a ride through the Tibetan Plateau in China, a parade along the beaches of Sao Paulo and even a Papal blessing. But now the party is coming home to Milwaukee over Labor Day weekend, which promises to be the biggest celebration of them all.  Milwaukee residents have always been cordial hosts for Harley-Davidson enthusiasts who make the journey to the City of Festivals from around the world. One Anniversary tradition is the welcoming home of thousands of riders by Milwaukee area residents who stand on the city’s highway overpasses with homemade welcome signs as riders arrive in Milwaukee.
