2005 Harley-Davidson Sportster XL 883L, The pink is only a sticker and will come off. - The name is 883 Low. But that by no means marks its place on the fun scale. This new lower Sportster model grabs attention and hugs the curves just like the rest of its XL family. We lowered the front and rear suspensions and gave it a sleek low solo seat to make it the easiest Sportster out there to throw a leg over. Getting the 883L off the kickstand is as easy as the low custom look is on the eyes. That custom look begins with a fresh graphic treatment. No other 883 has it. Then we pulled back the polished handlebar and stretched it wider for a riding position unlike any other. Power comes from the recently redesigned Evolution engine, rubber-mounted so your backside isn’t just lower, it’s more comfortable, too. When you’re out on the road, riding low, it’s hard to imagine how anything could be higher up on the fun scale. Bobby Petrino’s Harley-Davidson Available for Auction – Comes With Baggage
Wed, 09 May 2012A 2007 Harley-Davidson Road King Classic reportedly belonging to former University of Arkansas football coach Bobby Petrino is up for auction. Listed as salvage title, the Harley-Davidson is painted in the school’s colors and features a razorback boar – Arkansas’ mascot – painted on the fuel tank with the words “Hawg Wild”. Sports blog ArkansasaSports360.com reported it can confirm the bike was the one Petrino crashed April 1.
Third Annual ‘The MEET’ at ACM
Tue, 26 Aug 2014More than 2,000 attendees visited America’s Car Museum for its 3rd annual Vintage Motorcycle Festival ‘The MEET’ last weekend in Tacoma, Washington, where over 300 motorcycles and scooters were showcased on the Haub Family Field at LeMay. The event drew pre-1981 motorcycles and scooters from the U.S. and Canada, including an antique motorcycle display, swap meet, cruise-in and a 78-mile roundtrip tour from ACM’s Anderson Plaza to Mt. Rainier.
