Harley-Davidson Sportster description

This is my 2003 Sportster 883/1200  and all associated spare parts I have used on it over last 12 years.  Bike is perfect,  needs nothing, All progressive suspension,  Mikuni Carb,   LSR 2 into 1
70 horse/76 lbs ft.   the bike is light nimble and quick,  I converted to chain drive a while back,  Ribz of France made the primary cover and rocker and cam covers. they were not cheap.
Flanders bars, stainless steel brake lines,  speed merchant adjustable, front spring preloaders. vintage  T6061  front fork brace, Steve Storz rear tail section and frame,  it is all done the right way,  no junk no short cuts,  If you need any additional photos from certain angle let me know,
I also redid seat with hospital grade gel padding for a soft ride,
Also just installed Avon tires  and grips.  and new battery.  Coils are hid under the seat in case anyone was looking for them also ignition is hid under seat also.

Also comes with the following
Original King gas tank with flying tigers paint,  This is done right by Bill Duncan  no edges paint is perfect,  I just installed the smaller tank this past winter, I wanted to try something different,
The current tank is new and sealed and primered and whats best no leaks.
2 pairs of handle bars original XR style,  and a new pair  of Speed merchant Hot barz  I thought I would like them and I did not,  the are good for speedway laydown look,

2 sets of drag pipes  2 inch and 1 3/4,

Original 883 pistons,  jugs   they are clean only had 500 miles on them when taken off.

Velocity stack,  this one is cool  blind drilled and very well made looks good on the bike,

2012-2013 Harley-Davidson VRSCDX Night Rod Special Recalled for Loose License Plate Bracket

Thu, 25 Oct 2012

Harley-Davidson is issuing a recall on all Night Rod Special models from 2012 and some from 2013 because of a potentially loose license plate bracket. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the mounting screws connecting the VRSDCDX‘s license plate bracket to the tail may loosen, potentially causing the plate to rub against the rear tire. This may cause the plate bracket to rotate as well as damage rear brake lines.

What am I gonna do with a gun rack?

Wed, 27 Jul 2011

Living in Shoreditch I come across a unique variety of motorcycles on the road; from XS650s, to classic Lambrettas and one completely brown jelly-mould CBR600. My favourite of the regular bikes I see is this Harley-Davidson badged Armstrong MT500. In my head I like to think that the owner operates as an urban vigilante, realistically whoever rides this ex-Army bike is probably an artist and instead of a weapon in the gun holder it's probably art equipment.

Warlord Harley-Davidson Saddlebag Trays By First Shot Cycle Parts

Tue, 28 Jan 2014

If you’re the type who likes to stay ultra-organized, even (especially?) while riding your Harley-Davidson bagger, you might want to look at these Warlord saddlebag trays from First Shot Cycle Parts. While the concept of saddlebag trays is nothing new, the Warlord tray is well thought out. Dividers keep all of your small items where you can find them and not buried in the saddlebag. Each tray is lined, comes with removable dividers and all mounting brackets.
