A BEAUTIFUL 2003 Harley Davidson XLC Sportster 1200 Custom 100th Anniversary, rare pearl white color (only made the last half of the 03' year). The pearl white looks absolutely awesome although it is hard to tell in the pictures. Runs great, starts great, looks and sounds great. I have taken very good care of her. New tires. Screamin Eagle pipes. Comes with chrome engine guard, windshield, backrest, original manual, Harley service manual, Harley SuperSmart Battery Tender, PJD bike cover, spare keys, chrome polish and Harley Lube. Tsunami-Tossed Harley-Davidson from Japan Washes Up in Canada
Mon, 30 Apr 2012A shipping container holding a Harley-Davidson motorcycle with Japanese plates was discovered on a beach in British Columbia, Canada. The container, which appears to be the cargo area of a box truck, is believed to be one of the first notable pieces of debris set adrift by the 2011 Japanese tsunami to land in North America. Beachcomber Peter Mark discovered the containerwhile riding his ATV along an isolated beach on Graham Island, an island south of the Alaskan Panhandle.
Harley-Davidson Suspends All Vehicle Production for Two Weeks
Thu, 19 May 2022Harley-Davidson announced it is pausing assembly and shipments of all motorcycles for a two-week period due to a problem with a component from a third-party supplier. Production halted as of May 18, the day after Harley-Davidson was notified about the problem by the supplier. The official statement was brief, and offered very little in the way of detail.
Pope Francis To Auction Harley-Davidson For Charity
Mon, 21 Oct 2013During Harley-Davidson‘s 110th anniversary celebrations earlier this year, Pope Francis was given not one, but two Harley-Davidsons, a 2013 Heritage Softail Classic and Dyna Super Glide Custom. Not one for gaudy excess (or a motorcycle ride for that matter), Pope Francis has decided to put both up for auction. Specifically, the Pope has donated the bikes to the Caritas charity near Rome.
